what is the best windscreen to buy ??? do they really make much of a difference in your c7 ?
I bought the WindRestrictor brand with the "Corvette" logo etched on the surface along with their rechargeable lithium battery pack/LED combination to light it up at night. Expensive it is. The plain one (no etching) and no LEDs is significantly cheaper and performs the same function, which is, to answer your question, to reduce the wind buffeting you'll get with a vert.
In my opinion, and perhaps more importantly my wife's opinion, it does a pretty good job -- she is able to withstand what comes through even at highway speeds, and tooling around town is never an issue with wind.
When I was researching these last Summer, I thought I might make my own from a sheet of polycarbonate, but the issue was how to fasten it to the car. Further, I really liked the etching feature WindRestrictor offers, so I dropped the coin to buy the prefab one.
Not in my C5. Mine is also lit up at night - only the etching lights up. It's very cool, if I do say so myself. You have several choices, but mine is lit dimly until I put on the brakes, when it gets brighter. I got yellow lights to match my car. Go for it. You'll get a kick out of it.

Save your money. The design of the C7 has way less wind buffeting.Phone calls can still be made under 80 mph.
Why purchase a Vert when the Wind Bothers You

I have the factory one that came with the car. So I have no idea if it helps as I have not driven without it. However it certainly doesn't interfere with anything except cleaning the inside of the rear glass.
New Vert I ordered arrived yesterday! Just had to get it...
Had just enough dry road to get to the dealer with the trade, and get back with the Vert. Shadow Gray Metallic, but hard to tell with the snow. Now its in the garage for a month. Or two...
Your new Corvette Convertible looks awesome but the snow doesn’t look so good LOL

I would agree that the wind buffeting is much less on the C7 than the C6 . I have to tie my hair back on the C6 Vert but it's not necessary on the C7 Vert.
I have had my car for 1800 glorious miles and not sure about the need for a wind deflector. Bluetooth sounds incredible top down so now it is up to my queen but she has yet to complain which is a great sign. It was great to get out this weekend, put my cover and charger away today................

Our C5's had wind buffeting and we had at one time considered getting wind screens but never did. Noticed a difference in the C6 convertibles, less than the C5's and now in the C7 seems like nothing compared to the C5/6's. Have never put a wind screen on any of our convertibles opting to wear hats instead. Radios have sufficient volume to pound out over any wind/road noise but most of the time we're cruising with the top down and the radio off just enjoying the sights and sounds of the cruise.
Whats your method for cleaning the top? I have some Raggtop products
I keep it simple vader. A little dawn, and a wash mitt. After roads trips (in my previous verts) I have a soft bristle brush that a use, and brush it lightly. In my experience if your car is garaged you don't need a ton of expensive products to keep it looking good. Of course I'll probably get some different opinions on that statement.
Disclaimer: Raggtop does make some very good products.

Hmm i went form C6 to C7 vert 3 summers ago, and i dont know HOW you guys can say there is less wind in C7. It is WAAAY more in the C7 than in the C6. If i have a cup or can of pop in the cup holder of C7 less than 1/2 full, it will nearly LIFT out of the cupholder at anything over 55mph.
