Hmm i went form C6 to C7 vert 3 summers ago, and i dont know HOW you guys can say there is less wind in C7. It is WAAAY more in the C7 than in the C6. If i have a cup or can of pop in the cup holder of C7 less than 1/2 full, it will nearly LIFT out of the cupholder at anything over 55mph.
You sure you have a C7? In my C6 I couldn't open the console with the top down, the wind would blow most everything out. I haven't found that the case in my C7. Of course wind buffeting is quite subjective in my mind. What I find good, another may not. I kinda gauged my C6, and now my C7 to my old '72 C3 Roadster. That thing would even blow my hair in my eyes, and I ain't got no hair.
I keep it simple vader. A little dawn, and a wash mitt. After roads trips (in my previous verts) I have a soft bristle brush that a use, and brush it lightly. In my experience if your car is garaged you don't need a ton of expensive products to keep it looking good. Of course I'll probably get some different opinions on that statement.
Disclaimer: Raggtop does make some very good products.
I had my C6 for 5 years and it was kept outside. I used nothing but soap and water on the top and it was in great shape. My C7 on the other hand has a nice new garage to sleep in.
I'm 11 weeks out from a 3 level lumbar fusion. Was afraid I wouldn't be able to get back in my GS. Happy days are here. Sat in it today. Getting in and out not a problem at all. Just waiting on the docs OK to twist before I take her out. Getting itchy.

That's good news indeed brother. I've had two ops on the back, and thank the Lord I'm still able to fall in, and crawl out of mine.

Spent the weekend polishing and then ceramic coating the car with Miyabi and ISM. Cloudy day helps find the dark spots but doesn't do the shine justice.

I ran across these photos of my C7 convertible I took the first few days after I bought it, for a friend out of State that had cancer. I don't think I ever posted them. The reason why I took and sent the photos to my friend was because 42 years earlier, we used to ride around in my brand new 1977 L82 C3. My friend died before I could get the new C7 back East to show it. Here's the first photos in my garage on Dallas, Texas:

I am sure you made your friend feel quite happy with the life the two of you shared and helped make the end of his just a little bit more comfortable. You sound like a very good friend, indeed.
Thinking of adding a Wind Restrictor. They are doing free installations at the Bash next week. For anyone who has one, are you pleased with the design and effectiveness? Does it really help reduce wind noise for enjoying the radio and conversation? Any cons? Is it an issue leaving in place all of the time?
