Very impressed with the TMOD lower shifter box. As far as the shift ****, it's on back order with RPI. I am starting to get the feeling its made in China and the Coronavirus delayed shipment. I am gonna make sure to disinfect everything and wear gloves when I open it lol. Idk just saying though. Never know.

I have a black one with yellow and a stingray on the side. I decided to stick with the stock **** since I got it to stop vibrating.

I didn't. It had the bushing on it that the boot connects to. It was metal instead of plastic. One reason I decided not to is that I'm using a Callaway shifter. I had vibration when I ordered the ball but managed to solve it with o-rings on the shaft. I didn't want to risk the vibration starting again. I have the complete factory shifter so if you want me to see how it fits that tomorrow I can. That would be easy since it's not in the car anymore.

Ok I see. I was only curious. I really just wanted to know if it made the shifter shorter. I forgot you had a Callaway shifter. I bet you can sell the ball pretty quick. I'll wait on mine since its already ordered.

I'll probably just keep it in case the vibration come back.

LOL. You obviously haven’t shifted an MGW. The stock shifter is very smooth but vague. Especially when going in to 5th and 7th. I personally couldn’t wait to get rid of the stock shifter. I prefer the notchy feel of a short throw myself.

What year do you own? I have a 2019 Stingray and the stock shifting was bad, at least to me. Yea I could have gotten by with it, but the alignment was not good, 1st was hard to set, 2nd grinding and 4th to 5th was a task as well. Maybe I just got a bad shifter IDK. But the TMOD lower box made a huge improvement in shifting. And this is in a 2019 vette. I was disappointed actually with the stock set up.

Looks real good. I can't wait to try mine. It was shipped yesterday. Does it feel lower than stock shifter?

Yes height is much lower and i like it. Only thing is it could not be aligned , wanted the shift pattern little right in line with the center console which is right inclined

Agreed and hear about MGW all the time , I like the stock shifter only needed a shorter **** now. Maybe down the line can look at MGW

don't think it will align perfectly because the screw. I tried turning the **** a little to align better, but as you screw the final turns it has to go back to original spot.
