Interesting, but wouldn’t it make the camera off center and not pointing straight?
You don't monut it on the pop out piece. That just let's you get a hand back behind the grill for nuts and screws and such. My friend has a camera mounted on his stock grill. I just emailed him and asked for a couple of close up pictures. When I get them. I'll post them here. He fab'd a mounting piece to mount the camera. I don't quite remember what he did so I asked for pictures. He has the stock grill and his camera is dead center of the grill.

I'll play around with my camera like the one you show and see if it fits.
Did you say that you had to make a special bracket for it or it just fits in this location?
Any cutting of the grill required?
Thanks for the photo.
I'm thinking of changing my standard grill one to a Z06 type with the larger openings for ease of mounting of the standard camera that most everyone uses, like Elmer did. I do like the looks too.
I was wondering, are all the grills with the larger openings, like the Z06's, the same or different. Not counting the ones with the built in camera mounts. I need one that would bolt up to my base 2017 with out any modifications.
If possible does anyone have an idea for the P/N or cost?

For those of us that do not know...what is a Navtool?
It is a device that allows non camera cars to have a front camera that displays on the NAV screen. It also allows you to display whatever you have running on your iPhone to show up on the NAV screen.
In it's initial build and offer, it had issues and a bunch of us worked around the issues and it finally was distributed to the public in an operational format. I've had my NavTool running flawlessly since the "problems" were solved.
Hi, I just bought a Navtool Box to have Carplay on my C7 Z, but after few days to find how to connect all the wires, it lokks Ok now BUT my screen stay blank !
If i want to resume : When I powered the box the first time (with the big gray plug) a blue LED had flashes quickly as well as a small green LED inside the box but more slowly. After about a minute, everything turned off. when I put the ignition in the car, the tachometerr lights well but not the screen of the radio / Nav.. Any idea Why. Do have i to do something after power on ?
Help !!! Eric (Careful, my english not so better than my French )
