I'd be guessing they still have engineering or tuning issue's with the setup. It's not an easy car to make a factory quality kit for, then if gm engineers are not helping on the tuning part. Even tougher.
I've been driving my procharged setup for almost a year now. Been 100% reliable so far. No issues at all with the car.
Then you’d be wrong. They began building cars based upon production components the other day. The only big issue they told me they have worked through was the loss of their founder, Reeves Callaway. But I’d give them a pass for that. It was a huge loss, all around.

Maybe. Most big companies won't admit the issue they have. Just going by what I'm reading here. They have deeper issue's.

There is no question they have some issues going on. These cars are brutal to tune well, I know Boost District mentioned in a video they spent 45+ hours tuning their cam kit so it's flawless as a DD. They mentioned what other shops are kicking out without naming any names, things like hard stops cause the car to die or engine to idle rough because of the cam.
I know it took lingenfelter a while to get their kit daily driver ready.
The shocker here is Callaway should have a significant advantage given their affiliation with GM. It's weird. I honestly feel bad for all the people who decided to stick with their deposit. I *almost went with Callaway but I never got the feeling they were remotely close back when I ordered my car. I'm glad I went with Lingenfelter but I'm also disappointed the Callaway cars aren't out. I'm a fan of c8s with FI and want to see more of them out in the wild. Videos. Races. Etc...
I'm glad I'm young enough to not worship Callaway or id be like everyone else in here, waiting 12+ months after deposit to maybe have my car done in the next 6-12 months. Life's too short to wait that long for a car that's not hand made in Europe.

Have they announced any new dates?
I have not seen new dates.
The only info that I have is that I was told last week that they will begin working on my car in Temecula within the next 2 weeks. That is the first time that they have ever given me a timeframe. I view that as positive.
Now you (and others) are just posting nonsense, not facts. No basis for anything
If you truly read here, as claimed, you would have digested my posts where I took time to speak with the principals of Callaway and got some answers
But no, keep posting nonsense.
7LitreC5 backs up what I’ve posted. These are the facts. Posting otherwise is just disinformation.
Not defending the Idle guy... but companies and their principles, do tend to say whatever they need to at the time to keep down the rumor mill + restless customers. I don't think either side of this discussion (the "guys its soooon crowd" and the "something is wrong" crowd)... matter. the proof is in the pudding. When customers actually begin taking delivery. pudding can be served and enjoyed by all. until then, it's just two sides of a useless argument. There is no doubt the fine folks at Callaway are working hard to get whatever the hold up is... out of the way.
it's not much different than those of us waiting for Lingenfelter to release their stage 2 kit, or whatever they are calling it. It's been "soon" on that for months. Just a bunch of BS until it can be purchased and installed.
I hope you guys get your cars soon, I want to see how they perform.

Mostly just opinion from what I see. Don't be fooled. I know these cars and many of these companies personally.. Definitely not new to any of this.
I'm sure someday they will get on track.

How is it "opinion" when I talk to the principals at Callaway either on the phone or in-person? Not sure what's your agenda, but it carries no weight with me.
