while it's clear that these wings are missing the proper fastener I wonder if they are designed similarly to Ferrari 458 and early 488 where the wings are designed to flex at speed to aid in the aerodynamic properties.
On the 458 these similar wing are designed to flex and redirect air flow at speed.
Seem similar in design so there maybe a level of flex designed in even with proper fastener?
The wrinkles in the seat base are totally normal and will go away. The seats are shipped leaned forward and the side bolsters push in to the seat base. Drive the car and it will disappear.
Thanks for reporting this. I wondered why it looked this way and now I know. The leather wrinkles make the seats look cheap. Like bad fitting replacement skins.
Also, the bottom bolster on the drivers left side was pushed over far enough to pinch my upper left thigh causing significant pain. I keep changing my seating position and pushing it away. Hasn’t gone away completely but it’s better. I was planning to take out the seat and modify the foam but that may not be necessary.
After the 4500 rpm break-in period my tach went to 6500 redline as it is supposed to. When I got home and pulled into the garage, I noticed the check engine symbol on the right side of the IP was lit. No chimes or warning messages, just the lighted check engine symbol. Not sure how long it was on because steering wheel blocks that area probably because of the way I have seat and steering wheel adjusted while driving. I had driven about 15-20 miles after the tach did its advance to 6500. Anyone else have a CEL after engine break-in period of 500 miles?
I tried turning on the tilting feature of the side view mirrors. When I put the car in reverse, the mirrors tilted downward to give a view of the ground and rear sides of the car. Fine. Then when I shifted into DRIVE, the mirrors stayed tilted down. Owner's manual says they should return to normal position when shifting out of reverse. I turned the tilting feature off and have not yet retried it.
Had the top off and that resulted in a very offensive glare coming off the silver aluminum strip that runs along the top of the glove box area. Probably need someone to make a decal to cover that aluminum strip. Carbon fiber look would work nicely. Also, after the top was stored in the trunk for about an hour or so, it was quite hot to the touch when I went to put it back on the car.

I noticed this on mine, they eventually went back up to normal after I drove forward about 10 ft. I ended up turning them off after that, so not sure if that is normal or a fluke deal.
To keep it short, not good news..... My car is now in the service department for a full transmission replacement. My odd/even gear issue reappeared and GM immediately decided to swap the transmission and to send back my transmission for forensic work. Apparently they have identified a failure with something inside the transmission preventing the odd gears to engage and only keep changing bt even gears. For additional details on my issue you can see my earlier posts. While I am not happy about having to go thru this, I commend GM for the decision to replace the transmission and to send it back to fully understand this issue to prevent a potential painful recall situation in the future. I wish GM technical support contact me directly for a dialog on my situation and for ways they can compensate me for this very unfortunate situation.
I will keep posting as get more updates. omeprazole Magnesium

was the top hot because the car was in the sun, or because the trunk is touching the engine compartment?
If so That’s a problem...melted luggage!
Hello Folks,
I wish GM technical support contact me directly for a dialog on my situation and for ways they can compensate me for this very unfortunate situation.

I had a similar problem with my C7 which resulted in one of my more frustrating experiences with Chevrolet service.
Sometimes the car would recognize my wife's fob first instead of mine when we got in the car. The controls would start moving to her position scrunching me into the steering wheel (half the time my knee would hit the trunk release and I'd have to get out of the car to close it). I'd have to hit my memory position button to stop movement and then hit it again to get everything back to my position. But the mirrors would start to tilt back then stop after moving from reverse to drive. Not a good situation when you didn't know this happened and try to do an aggressive freeway merge into traffic - all you see is asphalt in the mirror.
I could repeat this at the dealership.
The diagnosis: Operating as designed - the car wasn't designed to have 2 fobs in the car at the same time.

So true with a number of vehicles. I will wrap the second fob in aluminum foil if it has to be in the car. The '20 ZL1 and Ford ST Explorer have the same issue. Sucks.
was the top hot because the car was in the sun, or because the trunk is touching the engine compartment?
I believe it was from the trunk being next to the engine compartment because even if I was driving in sunshine, the trunk lid is between the sun and the trunk with the top stored in it. Has anybody else noticed a hot trunk compartment (especially you people who are in a milder northern climate, not Florida like I am)?
On my first drive after delivery I had to stop behind a mailman and the C8 began honking at the poor mailman or the guy "oncoming" incessantly then it stopped and it never did it again....?

Hot golf clubs in the trunk I could care less about, but need to put a guitar in there when I go to a gig!!! Now that is not happening!!! 🤔😔
As the OP, can I please request we keep this thread as an instructive source of information for others rather than let it be hijacked by nonsense, off-topic, or argumentative posts. Thank you.
Was driving my C8 yesterday, stopped at a friends house for a few minutes. When I restarted the engine there immediately was a noise from the left front fender area that was a combination squeal / grinding sound. Frunk hood was up and my friend verified from outside the car that the noise originated under the left front fender. It lasted perhaps 5-10 seconds until I mashed the start engine button to kill the motor. I restarted and everything was fine. Drove the car this afternoon and had several engine start / stop/cycles, everything fine.
What motorized item item is located in the left front fender area?
