They have a great Vette tech, however he is very busy working on Vettes that were purchased at Arnold.

I am curious - how many corvettes does Arnold sell each year?

My guess is about 35. Don’t forget C7’s and prior gens. Tranny replacements could tie up a tech for a week or less. The Vette tech also does Volts and Bolts. Bolt recalls are another problem.

Roberts Chevy in Hicksville ,will work on any Vette. Ozzie is a good Vette tech. However, you may find that there will be a wait to get an appointment

Up Date...Kratedisease ....took your advice...stopped in to Huntington Chevrolet....excellent customer service...they brought the Vette Tech (Eric) in from the shop to meet me and he was very professional and knows the car very well...said he's already done (3) amp replacements on C8s with faulty Bose Amps...(1) of the (3) had the leaking A/C condensate line line under the passenger mat (see Service bulletin on prior post)...My Car goes in next Tuesday...he said he'll diagnose it and order a new Amp...not sure what the back log is but he said Bose has the replacement Amp with a different part number...so I guess its an inherent flaw in the design and Bose is now aware of it......stay tuned

FYI....Eric had a C8 on the lift when I walked in...he just pulled the tranny...leaking DCT casting on a 2021..

Glad you found a dealership. Eric is an excellent mechanic. Works on Vettes and electric Chevys.

I checked the top 100 corvette dealers and Arnold is not on there - so they are at less than 30 per year and likely much less.

10 days post delivery similar

noticed cruise control suddenly stopped working. Then noticed check engine light followed by engine repeatedly stopping, then transmission shift weirdness, then massive loud fans in rear while parked.

codes p0101, u060f, u1346

took to Criswell. They have never seen this. Coincidentally today a bulletin comes out (PIE0681) about exactly this. Seemingly new failure mode people are seeing?

hopefully I’m not starting a 6month repair journey. Fingers crossed.

I didn’t have tow hook. Driver was uncomfortable connecting to the points called out in book. He preferred I drive it on. Luckily the car ran enough for that. With a couple wood blocks we were able to pull it off even without front lift. No scraping. That being said, I’m buying tow hook now for next time.

Does anyone have issues with the driver seat not fully returning to Drive Position 1 upon car startup? If so... is there a known fix for this?

I'm having this issue intermittently, can't seem to figure out what triggers it... sometimes it stops short, sometimes it doesn't go, sometimes it goes all the way.

I do. I can press the seat memory button and hold it in and it will continue to completion. I think it usually has to do with me leaving the door open for some extended period of time. But I don't know for sure and it doesn't bother me enough to look into it

Some have reported that if they move their programed exit position up just a bit forward it solves the issue. It appears if it is up against the stop position sensor it can for what ever reason cause this issue. You might want to reprogram your exit position forward a 1/4" or so to see if this corrects the issue.

Oh well - It bit me too. I discovered oil on the garage floor, cleaned it up and it returned. Just returned from my local dealership re a number of issues and had him investigate and it's an 8 hour evolution. left my C8 and I'll see him next week. Hopefully, it doesn't turn into a TX replacement.

I started a separate thread, but figured i'd mention it here too.

I also started a thread re NOT using the alternator for a charging connection.

Update on codes p0101, u060f, u1346 and GMs new bulletin to address it PIE0681

yesterday they are concluding that there was a water intrusion issue and that the mass airflow sensor needs replacement. Easy and an available Part. Hopefully I get it back next week. Fingers crossed.

When in for my NIT (Nail in Tire) replacement, the SA (Service Advisor) mentioned that there is a recall (something about airflow?) that was issued. Anyone heard or know particulars about this? 'sorry I don't have any more details.

As for dealers and service, I went to Criswell in MD. They were amazing. Hands down the best service dept I’ve ever worked with.

Glad to hear the MAF was a quick easy fix...Nice looking car....and yes I bought a new Grand Cherokee from Criswell in MD last year.....excellent service...very competitive pricing..

Also Just an update on an earlier post regarding no AUDIO in my C8....I brought the car into Huntington Chevrolet yesterday...Eric confirmed faulty Bose Amp...and no condensate issues under the passenger mat...they ordered a new amp which is back ordered so no telling when I'll get Audio back in the car...I would highly recommend Huntington Chevrolet for c8 service and avoid Arnold Chevrolet in Babylon & Atlantic Chevrolet in Bayshore.
