There are all on the passenger side: what a coincidence:
1. Passenger wiindow auto-closes to the top then opens back down a few inches. never lost power and auto closes, so it's not the indexing issue. It's sporadic
2. when HTC top is down, the black fabric cone is rubbing against the window when the window is closed all the way (driver side window doesn't even touch it)
3. body, door, & tonneau seams are slight mis-aligned
4. Broomerang misaligned
5. fender seam too tight
If anyone shares the same issue and resolved them, please share the info. Good side bad side bad side

My biggest gripe about panel alignment and paint finish is GM doesn't provide a definition of what they consider acceptable vs unacceptable. So it is up to the subjectiveness of the dealer.
I had a quarter panel seam misalignment on my C7 that would cast a shadow on the lower panel during mid-day sun. Never was able to get it corrected.
My C8 is in the shop waiting on a new trany.
Can any advise how long it took to have theirs replaced?
What got you to the point of a new transmission? Was it throwing codes or did it have a failure? I'm dealing with a code issue where they flushed it and may have to do a valve body. Just wondering what led up to your issue and what steps they did prior to unit replacement. Thanks and good luck hopefully you are back on the road quickly.

I believe I saw your post in FB as well. But did it get deleted? Although I don't have a HTC, I have similar fit/finish issues as to the rest of the cars there. When I went to the dealer to pick up some materials, I inspected every single car and they all had the same fit/finish issues.
1) When closing the top, side passenger window closes then auto-reverses 2 inches. Even after the top is closed, the 1click auto-close will close then auto-reverse until I hold the button to override the auto-reverse function. I never lost battery power, auto-close and indexing still work fine. Regardless, I tried reprogramming the windows numerous times but it still happens every time I open then close the top. Anyone else have same issue?
2) Also, the passenger side window slightly pushes against that black cone which causes some squeaks and rattles sometimes. Driver side window doesn't even touch it. Anyone else have same issue? Does anyone know how to remove it to adjust a bit? Service manual anyone?
Yeah, I deleted at FB because the most responses were useless by trolls. I'm beginning to accept "some" as the American Quality Standard, unfortunate but reality. I was comparing to my Lexus. Thanks for the affirmation.
Oh, it does matter big time. I don't want them to mess things up and make it worse. ;o)
100% Correct, if the isn't done correctly. It will come back to haunt you in a couple years. Check around for a high rated certified body shop. You didn't buy a 1/2 assed car, don't let anyone 1/2 *** it back together. lot of body shops a round that are known for the quick spit job for used car lots. Avoid those like the plague . I could write three pages of crap ive seen from fly by night body shops. Concrete filling rusted out areas, with bondo over and paint, yep seen it.
It's all fixable, just have someone who really knows what he is doing, do it.
