Do you think the 200 cell converters may need some type of o2 simulator, to keep the ecm, from spitting out a 420. Then the car going into limp mode.
From another vendor the 200 cel converters with an O2 extension, there hasn't been any issues yet but its on a limited sample size.

So you do have to use extensions, witch is fine.

Potentially, the vendors that design them will have to determine this.

We'll cross that bridge when we get there. I'll keep the thread updated!

This one is significantly more complex than previous generations, we're taking our time with the drops.

@Hitman_396 Forgelines with hoosiers is roughly 30lbs less than factory. Prototype cat back took another 40lbs off the car.

Are those new shafts entirely or rebuilt upgraded ones? My wife snapped one last night however it was on street tires and just a hard pull from a dead stop.

@Toilets take it to the dealer so they can document it back to GM. Snapping one on the street with street tires would seem to indicate a bad batch.

Any ideas on a new air box solution? I would think there’s a couple designs that could definitely help to get more cold air in and possible give it a bit better sound.

Still waiting on sound clips with headers/test pipes/exhaust!

We’re going to wait for that until we can tune, but there is definitely room for improvement.

Our marketing/media guy was editing the cat-back video tonight when I left! Headers, test pipes and cat back is going to be LOUD.

More to come soon, we have been juggling a lot with day to day part sales, R&D and ~17 cars in the shop.

For sure! I would never do but definitely want to hear it uncorked. I’m actually working on a prototype exhaust with a local company here in Houston utilizing the factory valves but if it’s not enough I might check out those headers in conjunction.

Our headers made the note deeper and a little clearer/louder. It’ll be nice to see what you can do with different combos as they develop.

Hi Audrey,

I don’t think we’ll be much help on that, this thread is about the 8th generation Corvette (C8). LG Motorsports is developing after market performance parts for that car.
