Its a good sign that they're ramping up production (a few days in a row of 60+ Zs produced per day this past week)- if there was a flaw with the LT6 that signals to me that they corrected it. They certainly had enough data and blown motors to inspect to discover root cause/pervasive issues.
I'm sure there will be additional failures, but it will be interesting to see if any of them were produced after March.

I have no knowledge concerning the relationship between LT6 problems and the current production rate, but if my information is correct, in the first allocation after termination of sold orders on April 4th, there were only SRs - no Z06s nationwide. That was for a projected build window of the first week in May. That doesn't mean there will not be other allocations for dealer retail later this month, or that customer cars from previous allocations won't fill up the build schedule for a while, but it will be real interesting to see the Z06 build rate from now until Sep.1st. The question becomes "Will Z06 allocations for dealer retail be at the same rate as when customer sold orders were being accepted?"
I do find it a little curious that Austin (Speed Phenom) has moved on to other vehicles and hasn't posted much about tracking his Z after one of last videos where he said the engine issues were improper break-in by the owners (his opinion) & nobody's posted an Emelia video in forever...

Figured it was due to consumable costs when I read this and right on queue SP posts this. She’s not cheap to run.
that is not how a tstat works - nearly closed until coolant gets to the tstat’s range, then starts to open to maintain that temperature
I understand how they work. So a lower rated thermo will let coolant through earlier, perhaps too early was my point as mentioned by others after my post. This is true under light driving conditions. Ultimately it doesn't matter under hotter driving conditions such as being on the track. A thermo can't make up for undersized radiators or inadequate air flow. A thermo will provide a minimum temp, not a maximum temp.
I thought this kid was ok, up until he started to **** on other owners who are having issues with their cars... In my eyes he's simply a corporate shill and not an enthusiast..

Not sure how he pissed on them but I could see how his comments can be looked at as delegitimizing real concerns and ownership experiences. I looked at it as more of a statement of calming folks down before declaring that the sky is falling with this LT6.
But I mean he does go over in this video how consumable costs make the porky Z06 twice as expensive to track vs his 600LT, so it’s not all sunshine and rainbows.
