XPEL’s Gorgeous Corvette C7 Matte Finish Wrap
This C7 rocks a matte finish like none other, at least not that I’ve seen. But that’s no paint job. You’re looking at a wrap done to the entire car.
XPEL now offers “Stealth” wraps that are clear, or translucent, so the OEM color stays, but you can choose to protect your Corvette’s paint finish in an invisible way. Or like this black C7, you can give it a matte finish. This car pictured belongs to one of our forum members, kingtspoon, and he tells us about the experience, as well as what made him choose this route.
kingtspoon chose the same film, but in clear over the aero components, so as to have a really cool contrast from the matte black that covers the rest of the car. Overall, he says the cost was about $6,000, but worth every penny, as it came out perfect. I can’t disagree, it looks amazing. Especially with the green brake calipers add that small splash of color, while the headlights and tail lights have thankfully been left alone and not tinted or “smoked.” Personal preference, but you are free to your own opinion, so chime off on the forum!
