That's exactly why I put the knee bolster back in. I'll probably replace it with thick foam soon.

the sharp edges of the bottom of the mag column/pedal bracket is what scared me, and why I cut out the upper 1/3 of it.

My tall butt needs all the leg room I can get... which is why I just had the cage tied into the stock dash bar. Geerookie's dash bar is an extra one, but it goes up and over the dash paralleling the OEM upper dash bar. However, this should be a non-issue for anyone other than me

Don't get me started... I daydream about finding a e38 7 series long wheelbase and making my own "770IL". How cool would a cam'd LS7 be in a car like that

BJ completed the cage and I will pick it up next Wednesday. Here are the final pics for mine.

He'll have Morris' completed in the next week or so.

I always wanted to do a 635csi with an LSx in it. A friend had one that Katrina killed back home in Ms.

it's pretty amazing to watch him work

more amazing was when I put in the lexan and could access a lot of the upper A pillar/windshield sections, there was only 1 small space I had him touch up, otherwise, I dunno how in the heck he welded the tops of those things like he did, so close to the roof

Sorry, Michael. You just lost Double Jeopardy.

Scott,

Passenger side Fire Handle. If you look close, there is also one above the kill switch on the driver side. I do not have a fire system, but I went ahead and let him weld in the tabs for later.
