Yes they are different and compliment the car perfectly. You nailed the stance too. Well done!

What size adapters did you have to use? And what was the original backspacing on those rims from their manufacturer?

Ah, thanks; I thought that was the backspacing *with* the adapters included.

Fantastic setup! any reason to use 245 instead of 255 in the front?

Anyone running 18x9 with 5" backspacing on the front? I'm not sure if they will fit.

These are Weld RTS S77. 18 x 9.5 with 5.1" backspacing.

I am running a 1/4" slip on spacer in the back which puts me at 4.85" backspacing out back. No rubs anywhere, but my suspension is not stock.

Up front I am running a 1 1/8" swaybar, VB&P upper and lower control arms, and VB&P adjustable rate monospring. Out back, I have Van Steel offset arms, a 5/8" swaybar, and VB&Ps 330#/in monospring.

In my case, on my car, the front wheel fitment is a cinch - I think there is a wide variety of BS that will work. The rear, if trying to fit a sway bar, is fairly tight. I could have gotten by with the stock trailing arms if I cut off and relocated the parking brake cable mount, but the arms were already powdercoated, and I like the Van Steel arm much better anyways, so I went ahead and went offset.

All in all, I am shocked at how well this car handles. Way better than I expected.

See my above reply. I am running 5.1", and they fit just fine. 5" would probably fit, but depending on your ride height, you MAY have an issue with your fender. I can try to bolt on some 1/4" spacers to my fronts to see if I have any issues at 4.85". My car is very low, so if I am good at 4.85, I imagine you would be fine at 5.

possibly. The factory wheel is a 15 x 8 with 4” back spacing. The optional tire size of 255 60 15 has a bubbly sidewall that protrudes roughly an inch past the wheel. If your backspacing is 5 inches be careful with your tire selection so that your sidewall protrusion is minimal.

Thanks guys, I take it the 18x9 with 5" BS should fit on the rear as well?
