The inner guard has a number of holes in it from my old vacuum tank and the vapour canister I originally mounted too high so I ground them all out to a taper and filled them with glass.
This fender appears to be the only one ever hit hard on my Vette. A partial guard replacement and repairs to the inner guard being the extent.
The inner side will get smoothed and resprayed satin black while some bed liner will go over the wheel side.
Craig as I was looking fo a new speedo and tach I ordered from one of your fellow Australians. He does very nice work refurbishing old components and is priced reasonably.

Glen does an amazing job Primoz.
His blue Vette could have come down the line at the same time as mine. 😀
i actually spoke to him a couple of days back re doing mine as well. However I got carried away when I was dismantling the dash clusters and stripped the speedo all down.
He seems to get a stream of work from the US, Europe etc.
Nice work Craig. I'm waiting for your dashboard work and how will it go back in as I need to remove it also. How is the wiring harness? Did you change it for the dashboard?

thanks Primoz.
Will get to dash soon.
I replaced the harness in the engine bay but inside one is in good condition so just a clean up and tidy.
Before dash goes back I will re route some of the smaller harnesses for neatness and easy of fitting things. Given its all out why not 😀

Well of course. As I embark on my suspension work I'm working out which things to do along with suspension as it is already dissassembled. There is some planning involved with restoring our beloved Corvettes fo sure.
