I believe the Model "T"s only had a very few wires. Maybe you can UPGRADE your vette to a Model T.. LOL. Seriously though, good luck. I tried hooking a system up on my 05 Blazer. Did not end well.!

Good luck, hope to see you on the road soon.
I've put over 1,000 on the car in the last six months since I got the mechanical stuff rebuilt....I'm just doing all the odds/n/end stuff while the hood and hardtop are at the painter/while I install the complete softtop assembly that I bought from member MIRAGE.

I've installed 4 systems in the last 10 years....that's why I waited until my dash was apart (again) to install this alarm system---much easier/OR/less difficult!

Actually my first "car" was a '55Ford truck with 14 dash wires. My first new car out of high school was a '69 Camaro convertible/kick me for selling it!

I found some old-school red 1895 dimmable bulbs on Ebay and ordered them....the dash will have the "aviation" look that I'm familiar with...they should be here Saturday when I begin to re-install the dash!
thanks!

New 69 Camaro out of high school, good stuff, but let's face it you really wanted a Corvette but it was probably just a little too expensive. I believe that is the underlying theme to many, many members here. I know it's mine.
Good luck.

Actually........there was an unsold red '68 Vette sitting next to the blue Camaro convertible on the showroom floor.......but the Camaro vert was $2600 (NO...NOT $26000...LOL)....................... and the Vette was $4500.
Between the price tag and the co-signer-my father.....the Vette was only a dream

I know of a real rough 69 Camaro convertible project that needs a home. Sound like that's your next project.
Was it originally Glacier Blue/two ballast canisters missing in the trunk/a small hole drilled in the left rear quarter-panel about 6" from the door jamb and an inch above the bottom of the panel(don't ask)/a GM rear trunk spoiler/aluminum foil lining the inside of the tail light housings/hood pins/RallySport GM bolt-on chrome induction hood bezels/R.S. folding headlight assemblies and grill/tunnel opening for a manual transmission/clutch pedal stored against inside firewall?
You better not ever forget your wife's birthday or your anniversary with a memory like that.
Thought someone shot car with .22 didn't know fender hole was drilled.
Seriously though, ever tried tracking it down?

No. I sold it to my brother in '85.......bad mistake......he hot-rodded it/blew up the motor and transmission/then sold it to someone in Texas. I was too mad to try and track it down.
So when I came across the Vette basketcase, it was in about the same shape as the Camaro convertible the last time I saw it....
I bought the Vette and haven't regretted it for one minute!
I finally built up the energy to begin the install of the alarm/remote-start this afternoon. I managed to connect the main power wires/grounds when my wife walked into the garage---"time to meet my sister for dinner!"-----yes dear!
I'm just glad the dash was already out! Maybe I can connect the other 15 alarm wires tomorrow!
Annnnnnnd.......the painter said "This Friday"....for the third time..."I said paint or no paint----I will be back Friday" .....I'll rent a dehumidifier and exhaust fan---it doesn't rain in my garage!
You ought'a be rolling on the floor by tomorrow night.......
Lookie what I found on the front porch....................
Only 26 more wires to go and I can put the dash back together!
Don't ya hate it when they just leave it on the porch? Some a**hole could've stole your new security system before you even had a chance to 'play" with all those wires!!!

LOL! Someone stole a $300 FedEx delivery from my niece's front door last week one mile from our home! TIME TO REQUIRE A SIGNATURE FROM THE HOMEOWNER......THE THIEVES ARE THICK AS THIEVES!
UPDATE: The painter has the hood ready for final coat and clearcoat....now if the monsoons would stop for a a few days! I DID take the hardtop home with me though--unpainted.
The locksmith repaired 2 of 3 locks....I will have to disassemble the driver's door lock completely and repair it---the locksmith didn't want the responsibility if something in the lock brought when he took it apart. That was fine with me.
I'll feel better about parking the car in public places with the alarm installed and all the locks working!
The paint and body are still scary though....LOL....
