With an alu radiator - 2fans and a "become necessary" powerful alternator update it's almost the only modernity it has received since judged. Fortunately, I've the fan shroud, rad, fan, alt... and all the original pieces in my garage to make back to the past.
As I was yesteday having a balade with my wife It was sunny and I was more than happy to be able to cool down the inside temp. These improvements are not useless...

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Probably this dealership.
Blythe was really the armpit in the middle of the desert back then, but thousands of boaters flocked there every weekend and played along the Colorado River.
Biggest thing not correct I think is the mufflers, 73 originals are more round shaped from what I understand, (it has 2-1/2" replacement GM oval mufflers)

As usual, check the tyre dates

Quick check on what I'm paying so you best sit down!
She needs the good stuff and that is currently £1.53 per Litre near me.
UK gallon that equates to £6.68 or $8.94
US gallon is £5.78 or $7.50
I refuse to check, but I would estimate 10 to the gallon at best and I racked up 4.5k miles last year
TIRES are from the late 70's and early 80's... needless to say they are nothing more than rollers.
My brother works for FIRESTONE CORP... he is relentless on tire dates, our family just does not allow aged tires to be used on our vehicles, a work truck maybe, however even my father's old 1941 FORD firetruck which will only go 35 has brand new Firestones, but there is no way we are going to risk original paint CORVETTES for a couple of thousand dollars in tires.
FUEL - until tmy fuel pump is replaced on my car I am going to run ZERO ethanol... In the US if it doesn't specifically state ZERO ethanol there is some ethanol since 1993 -- that's when blended fuels were introduced across the US, and also when the BTU's per gallon of gasoline began it's decline from 126,000 in 1992 to approx 120,000 in 2019.
My carb is rebuilt and can handle ethanol... it's my original fuel pump and the original rubber lines I worry about, I have inspected them for cracking and they are pliable, however I am sure ethanol would do them in...
Thank God 71's have 9:1 compression... we only need 91 octane ---
My problem is the only thing I can get around here is 87 ZERO ethanol @ 2.99 / gal SO I have been mixing VP 110 @ $15/gal -
I mix 20-25% 110 VP racing fuel or 110 AVIATION -- WORKS out to just under $5.40/ gal - for approx 92-93 octane ZERO ethanol with a little lead -- I have ZERO detonation, the engine pulls well even from say 1800 RPM in 3rd or 4th without lugging or detonation.
