It could be the carb is just too big for what your engine demand is. I would leave the squirter situation as it is unless you can find a smaller secondary squirter. Run it like that until you do see an issue but i dont forsee it.
The only thing i can see being the issue is the scondaries openning too soon and the demand isnt there. You would have to adjust the mechanical arm to tune that in so that yhe secondaries open a few degrees later but again, its finally working, i would drive it for a while and see how it goes.
It's only a 650 CFM, so it should be sized correctly. Yes I'm going to drive it for a while like this, and if I see any issues with my "single pumper" setup I'll mess with the secondary opening rate.

If its a 650 then maybe you need a bigger carb. It could be not getting enough air and more than enough fuel. Do you have any other carbs floating around?

Yeah that is certainly a possibility, but a 650 on a mild/stock SBC should be dead on, if not a little big.. I don't have another carb, and invested in this one so going to have to make it work lol Will moving to the other hole on the secondary linkage make it open quicker or slower?

He lower hole isnt an option. You would have to close or open the elbow in the bend of the linkage you have...
Did get my air duct vents in so I can install the chrome ***** into my dash. I didn't even know I needed these, and it's amazing all the little crap I have to buy to put this interior back to original! But I was able to finish my dashes finally, and can't wait to get them in:
The last piece I have to restore for my gauge bezel is this old wiper/vent assembly I bought. It's rough, but new paint and a clean up will transform it. How do I remove the labels and replace them?
The wiper switch, the **** with the arrow and the clear lens with the lettering are all available from Corvette Central.
I just received mine and the pieces are really nice.
I think I’ve spent more money on the interior, gauges and all the little clips, hardware and do dads than I did anywhere else.

Thanks, I'm going to order them! What'd you paint yours with? Did you redo your shift bezel as well? Yeah starting from scratch on my interior has been an expensive endeavor! Fortunately I got some donations and good deals on used parts that helped soften the blow!
While looking at articles of interior restorations, I came across this article with a solution to use my '80 T&T column (which I would prefer to retain T&T!):

Mine is sitting in a box waiting until I start installing the interior.
I’m not sure yet what I’ll paint it with.
When you say shift bezel do you mean the shifter plate?
If so I’m swapping to a 5 speed so I don’t need the clear bezel on the plate.
Corvette Central also offers those as well!

I'll probably continue to use SEM Landau Black, i'll let you know how it goes! That 5 - speed is going to be such a game changer! How long have you owned you '73?
Great developments with my Holley tuning: I fixed the rich WOT bog with both squirters working! On my Holley tuning thread, it was suggested that I should close my secondaries, instead of having it open with a matching light gap to the secondary.. I did this , and put the pink cam back on at the 2 & 2 (fully retarded) position and went and drove it: MONEY! at low RPM I was getting a slight bog that instantaneously went away, and at high RPM I was actually going lean when i floored it. So I went back home and put the pink secondary cam in the 1 & 1 position: Hard WOT pulls!!! At higher RPM (above 3K) it's now perfect!! not sure how the secondary position has this much effect, but my accel pump situation and WOT pulls are wayyy better!
The second thing I changed was the primary jets, now that I have gotten rid of my light throttle tip in lean condition with the 10.5 PV. I would get horrible lean hiccups when I last ran the #64 primaries at light throttle tip in, despite having a nice cruising AFR in the low 14's. Now with the #64 primaries I have the nice cruising AFR of the low 14's when i'm on the primaries, and NO lean condition with throttle tip in! I went on a highway run and could not get it to go lean!
So looks like the big issues I had were resolved by a quicker opening PV, and reducing my squirters and closing the secondaries! Will report back after I get more miles on this tune, but it just keeps getting better!

I’ve owned it for about seven years and collecting parts for my restomod project.
Didn't get to work too much on the Vette this weekend, was busy with projects around the house on projects (got plenty of them around here!). I was able to get back to my interior this evening and finish the shift plate console. I surgically masked it off and sprayed it down with the SEM Landau Black. It's a tedious process to mask, and putting a wood inlay would definitely be the easy way; but I wanted mine black!
Masking tape and a razor blade to get this thing done:
Came out pretty good!
The shift plate came out pretty good, but I have a couple of edges I'm going to touch up with a fine paint brush in order to get it perfect, and it'll be good to go!
I have now found a way to make my '80 T&T column that's installed work, so I'm going to go that route. I've given up on that ignition cylinder, but going to put a new turn signal switch and put the column back together. May need it, guess we'll see!
Spent timing this week chasing perfection on my interior parts. I had redone the whole dash, except the metal bezels around the speedo/tach, which what some pitting and scratches . I knew this would bother me in the future, so I took it all back apart and sanded it down, then treated it to some satin black paint. I polished the chrome edges too, it's going to be a lot nicer to look at while driving now!
I then went back to my shift plate with some satin black paint and a fine paintbrush to fix the edges and touch it up
My neighbor is a car builder, and only does resto mods. He had this stereo he pulled out of a '71 Suburban he built a few years ago and gave it to me for the vette. Going to need to do some modifications on the bezel, but it'll work
