Oh wow, don't do that to me! I want this so bad but don't have the money right now
How long is it good for? Hopefully a year
The coupon expires November 10th, but they email me them a few times a year. It's usually 15% off with free shipping. This is less than I paid for my kit. I paid $650 shipped, I wish I new about the coupon codes before.
the kit with the pump and brackets comes out to around $755 shipped.

Just ordered mine today. Thanks for the coupon Qwank.
If everything goes okay then the coupon saved me a bunch of money.
I will probably order a new pump as well but that can wait a bit as I won't be installing the kit until spring so I'm just gradually gathering the parts that I will need.
Just out of curiosity, what brackets will I need if I already have stock power steering in my 77?
I thought the Borgeson kit included everything required except for the power steering pump.
I am in the process of installing a Borgeson box in my 80 corvette and looking at A probable heat problem. The box fits OK but there is only about 1/4 inch space between my headers and the box about the same as in the picture above. I believe that is going to cause the fluid to boil, I am thinking I will have to add a small oil cooler in front to keep it a little cooler.
Anyone else have this problem?
I hope this spacing won't cause heat problems with the new box?
Thanks to all who posted on this thread. Finished my install tonight and can't wait to get a four wheel alignment and put her on the road to try out the new feel. Ordered the kit before I read about the coupon.... oh well, still happy that I got it in with no problems and minimum sweat thanks to the write up here.
Well I finally finished the install and the new Borgeson box seams to work good....but at low speed there is a slight wearing sound and feeling that is not felt at driving speeds?

by wearing sound, do you mean a grown that sounds like Chewbacca yelling? If so, yes I have that also. IMO experience, the only way to fix that is to replace the box, but I'm not pulling it all apart again just for a noise.

I don't believe it should make any noise at all. Especially anything like Chewbacca.
That kind of noise might be air in the system. You may need to prime the pump, check for leaks and re bleed.
As for a slight metal on metal tick sound, check the clearance between the drag bar and lower control arm.
Mine was very close and I ground a little bit of lip on the arm. See my photo posted earlier.

Not sure what you mean by slight wearing sound. Mine moans if I turn the steering wheel quickly when stopped. I replaced the pump on Borgeson's dime although they said my pump tested OK on their test rig.
It cost me a bundle to ship my pump both ways - since the pump was good according to them. It moans less with the new pump, but still makes a noise it shouldn't.
Only other source of the noise would be the steering box! I'd rather live with the noise than go through the hassle of R&Ring the box, plus the shipping across the USA.
It brings to mind that nothing ever works quite as well as OEM stuff. Cars or motorcycle, aftermarket parts always seem to have issues. That said, the moan is a very minor irritant, I wouldn't go back to manual steering on my '69.
I change out steering boxes at work all the time for that noise. it's definitely not air, it also doesn't affect the operation or safety of the system, so I didn't worry about it on my car.
At 90 to 100 M. P. H. I no longer have to grip the wheel so tight. The wandering is completely gone. I have two C-3, Both have all new steering, one stock, the other has The Borg set-up. I enjoy driving the Borg, when you get out of one & drive the other, you know the difference. I did use the U-joint in lieu of the Rag joint, because of you guys on this forum. LOL The Code also, from this forum. Thanks guys for the info. Happy Thanks-giving. Gene

The box is new with less than 50 miles on it and the pump was rebuilt also. The steering is fine and on the highway and it is stable. The sound and feel is only at slow speeds and not at driving speeds.
