BTW! I would like to say this about the NCRS, everything I have heard up to this point has been wrong....I joined last week and also joined the local chapter last week. They are very helpful and actually do drive their cars!! Great organization and worth taking a look at joining even if you never plan the have a car judged.

Man do you work fast!

It took me a LONG time to get the rear section of my frame ready.

I was able to use the red pad and get in most of the corners.

I also hand sanded with some 150 grit emory cloth to get in some tight spots.

Where you had to get aggressive with the black wheel make sure to go over the same areas really well with the red pad. Otherwise, you may see more sands marks that you want to see after painted.

And the paint! Fairly pleased, the crossmember for the diff got a sag in it so I will have to fix that but I like the color and the sheen.

Anyone know by this picture if these are the original U joints? If they are I want to keep them as there are no problems with them and I am going for NCRS
Thanks

I just checked my drive shaft, and they are original. It has Spicer at top
and USA on the bottom. I can't see my half shafts because they are already mounted, sorry.

And finished the other side!!'

I also figured out a wire wheel to get inside the big holes.

So I went ahead and redone the other side too.

And a close up!!! Man it's a thing of beauty when you work hard and get a result!!!

All I need to do is finish the crossmember Sunday and then on to the TArms!!!
