LT1 to LS1 coil per cyclinder swap.
anyone wants all the details to installing Bailey's LTCC coil per cylinder on a 94 C4, I have most the answers now. My conversion had a few glitches and I soak in a bunch of info from every source I could.
It might be nice to put it all in one place. It would have been a lot easier.

KeviKev, I bought my first C4, as my second project car. Its an '85 and came stock with 2004 C5 corvette rims/tires. They not only fit well but look amazing.
Hope this helps

I'm useing c6 rims and tires on mine I had to buy 1 inch billet spacer plates do not cheep out on these I went to a very good manufacturer cannot remember the name but I could find it these plates bolt on your existing lugs comes with nuts you lock them down at about 100 ftlbs with locktite and then use the lugs off the billet plates I also bought special lugs so all 10 are impossible to get off without the special socket . The size is 19 x 9.5 in the front and 20 x 10.5 rear they look soo nice on it . Mine was a z 52 to start so it took them well I think the bace would be fine too

Optispark failure & fix info
I thought I'd add a link to a thread I started in 2009 on an opti issue I had. Since the '92 to '94 opti's have such a high failure rate, I figured having this link here could help others who run into this issue.
Installing the active venting system that the '95 and '96 Corvette opti's have will go a long way to increasing the reliability of the earlier, passive vent opti's.

I'm finishing up repair of the RH motor/gear on my '88. Turns out the OEM Delrin bushings were like new; finally I realized that the nylon gear had split and was hanging up the motor.
I had to pull the motor shaft to remove the OEM gear and found that thread wrapped around the thiick copper wires allowed me to secure the brushes against spring tension while lowering the motor shaft back into the housing with the new Nylon gear.
Here is a "how to" that contains pictorals on the procedure. I found this useful as I could take my "book" down to the car for easy reference.

Manual headlight raise 1984 corvette
All
Trying to workout how to manually raise headlight on an 86 corvette. The version of the headlight motor does not have the **** that can be turned and I can't find a manual that provides advice. Any ideas.
Thanks in advance

This was posted in the wrong place, so it's an old post, but I'll answer it anyway, in case someone has a similar problem. The '84-'87 headlight motors have the manual control ***** on the bottom of the motors. The '88-'96 have the ***** on the top.

Targa Top Re-Bonding
The acrylic or fiberglass tops of our C4's have a bad habit of coming loose. This needs to be fixed ASAP before you become a member of the FRC (Flying Roof Club)! I successfully re-bonded my acrylic roof in 2006. I tried several procedures with weather seal adhesive, epoxy, and RTV, all of which were very short term fixes. Here's the link (date: 9-30-13) to the right answer!

(My roof repair has been tested in HOT weather, and at 125 mph.)
