all you young guys out there - please don't buy into this thing about how great your golden years will be - sure if you get lucky & retire you might not have to drag out of bed in the AM and head to work - my feet hurt - my back hurt - i have half the hair i use to have - my ***** takes much more time off then he use to - even have to buy him a special pill to keep him happy - hair grows like wild fire in my ears - well thats about all i have to say about that - t
PS one good thing - my insurance is only $234.00 for 6 mo's for my 02 - so i guess the above is all worth it
Consider the alternative. It is FAR worse. The only reason you're not getting older is because you're dead.

I don't care what your philosophy is, I agree with the OP, "Getting old SUCKS!" I have the recurring dream that by the sweat of my brow I've just done the latest Mod to the car and die before I get to try it out! This would be a waste of good Mod money and deprive me of my hobby fun, For a long time. OK, pass me the Prozac.
Your right and one of those people was my daughter who left this world at age nine and a half.
i know your pain - my wife & i also lost a daughter & just 2 weeks ago we lost our 17 year old grandson in a drowning accident in Hayden Lake Idaho - we have all lost - for some reason someone has to keep us old farts around to bitch & grip - with that said i hate all young people - thats people in there 20's/30's/40's - they are in the prime of there lives but few know it - can anyone tell me whats more beautiful on this earth that a beautiful 30/35 year old mature woman! my wife is 61 & still beautiful - some 60 year old men & women look like a burned title at 60 - put my wife in a senior beauty contest & she would shine but when a woman is in her mid thirty's - - - dem Oh - Dem but i guess it's just a matter of taste - but then again there's nothing wrong with hard bodies - thank god for home movies

Gonna be 66 in August and damn happy to be here. Just buy a good set of tweezers for the ole ears, put on a smile and let 'r rip. Yeah, things could be a whole lot worse.
Heck, I feel like a new-born baby! No hair, no teeth and I just wet my pants...lolol. Just kidding, but I drive my vette like there's no tomorrow and when my kids tell me to act my age, I just grin. I feel young in my mind and I ignore all those other things that try to convince me I'm getting older. Don't give in to the idea you're old. It's a government conspiracy.
Plenty of pain in the joints here, but I work out 1 hour 6 days a week,
eat a healthy diet and only have my beer on the weekends. This
formula seems to be working for me. My ***** even seems happier!!
Oh yeah, the vette gives me a nice boost as well.
I'm 65.....can't imagine being fully retired. Below is my daily ride..... driving the 'Vette after a normal work day is a bit tame, but relaxing nevertheless.
