Maturity, not age is the major concern. These cars are stupid fast and can put you in a heapof trouble in seconds. Keep the TC and AHS on and keep control of your "need for speed" and you'll be fine.
Just don't play nascar on the highway and cut off the TCS and try to take turns at 100+mph to impress someone and you are fine.
Some guy in his mid 40's in a newer 6 series BMW tried to run me the other night, I just let off at 40 mph and held back (speed limit was 55 there), let him waste his gas on that german tank.
I'm 24. First Vette bought 5 weeks ago. I've had Fbodies though since I was 17 so I did all my dumb stuff in those. I know its fast, but I don't drive like a jack-hole.
Good for you I got my first one when I was your age a 1972 coupe. I have a few more after that one. We need more young folks involved with these cars I am 45 and most of the owners I meet are 20 years older than me.
im 39 no won my 2nd one, but I was 26 or 27 when I got my first brand new C4, yeah peops will be real jealous due to your young age, but keepo your head screwed on and you will be fine!!!!!!!!!
I bought my first Corvette when I was 19... and still have it... My son received his 06 ZO-6 when he was 23 and has been incredibly responsible with it.
Age is much less a factor than maturity. I'm of the opinion that you're never too young to own a Corvette... and hopefullynever too old!!!

Got my first one at 18 back in 84', it was a 1968 vert. Also had an 81' Trans Am at the same time. A few years later my uncle bought the vette from me while I was in the Army; he still has it.

I got my first vette at 17. Gave it back to dad after 6 months since he did buy it (1981 coupe) and bought my own 98 coupe at the age of 17. I'm only 18 now and have put over 6k miles on my car in the 5 months I've owned it.
I think if you are willing to work for what you want then you have the maturity to make the right decisions when using it; I.E. not driving beyond your experience.
Bought a brand new 67 when I was 24 so I guess that makes me one of the old guys. The payment was $100/mo when my take home pay was $200. I loved that car and wouldn't do it any different if I had the chance. So enjoy it.
Man, this issue gets beaten to death. Coming from another younger Z06 owner (19) I don't see any problem with it. Like stated above. If you're respectful and have a good head on your shoulders and this isn't your first "fast" car. I don't see a problem. Just be safe, find your limits, and don't let your friends drive it lol.
My dad bought me an 85 vette when I was 14, and now that i'm 16 and got my license, I drove it almost everyday. I love driving a vette at such a young age.
Got mine just before turning 22. I agree with pretty much everybody else that it's not too young as long as you're responsible and some folks just like to rain on your parade. Sometimes ya see people who just got their driver's license sitting behind the wheel of all that power, I don't know about all that. I just try to remember that "With great power, comes great responsibility." Nice car btw!
Yes you are too you to own a car like that if you are going to punch it recklessly or fall into the trap of racing when provoked.
No you are not too young to drive that car if you don't pay attention to the crazies even they provoke you to give them a show on what the z can do.
Generally speaking these cars are not for young people because you can get into trouble with it very easily (I'm a decade older than 20 and I still have to tell myself to not go crazy with the car and to not do stuff like that one time I ended up in the oncoming traffic lane).
