i wanted to give radio flyer a big thank you his his time in doing the halo mod for me. i think it took him less time to the mod than it did to get the halo's themselves. anyone who undeceided about do this just do it !! i used the sequential flasher w/ mine & it looks & works great

the illuminated door handle mod looks excellant Kold. think i will try the same, but with blue Boron L.E.D. think it will look excellant against the black.
Awesome Job.....
Just so I have this clear. During the day the halo's won't turn on when I brake unless I have my parking lights on correct? I want to get wheels and an exhaust first, but this would definately be something I'll be interested in doing. The black out kit would be illegal in California, but it's just a $10 fix it ticket. Last question, did you just black out the center part of your tail lights or the whole light? You'll be hearing from me radioflyer.

You are correct. It is possible to wire the circuitry so that the Halos also flash with the brake and turn signals. A simple diode is all that would be needed. I'm thinking about doing this to mine when I replace the Halo LEDs.
I wonder if the Black Cherry tail lights would be considered legal. There's virtually no difference at night and in the day they're just red enough to be seen.

You know I was thinking the exact same thing. Which leads me to my second question. Where did you guys buy your LED tail lights? Oh and do you have a link as to who might sell the black cherry tail lights? Reason I really like the black-out kit is because I think it would look sick on a black car. I think I saw a company that sells the tint, but it's like an adhesive and easily peels off. If I get stopped, I'll just fix it right there and give the officer a $10 bill...lol, jk. I would still have to pay in court. Thanks for the reply, I'm really excited to get these.

(richard: (SN C5vetteLS1) is where I got my LED tails. As far as tinting goes, richard's tinting is second to none.
If you want, you could take pic of your car with the OEM tails, then if you get a fix-it ticket, show that picture. (I've done this before with the lack of a front plate...though most LEOs don't care about that here.
Here in California you have to take the car to the Police Department and have an officer see that the violation was corrected. I love California as a state, but some of the police officers are really badge-heavy.

I finally got these modded LED tails in... they look SICK in person! The pictures don't accurately represent how awesome it looks up close. Very happy with this mod. Thanks guys!
No pics yet, waiting until I put in my HIDs this week.
