You could make the base lights cover less for those that want them and make all of the other stuff optional, such as the halos, trim strips, covers, high beams, exotic coatings, etc. This would bring the cost of the lights down for those concerned with the cost (which I'd think that everyone is, but as stated earlier, the price is not bad for a CUSTOM built lighting setup that offers SUPERIOR lighting over OEM).

I am also interested in this product but for me I would like to have the light shroud painted to match my EB Z. I really need to see the final product before making a purchase.
Love you work!
I own California Corvette Customs sending you a PM.
PLEASE ! PLEASE!! PLEASE!!! Make them look like this.
They would sell like hot cakes for sure. This updates the look without looking like the ugly depos.
=luckyirishguy;1571905071]it seems like its gonna have this feel to it...which i like the design....and the integrated turn signal....just throwin it out there
^Radioflyer could make the internals look like this light and still keep the lens he is working with and not have to cut the fender as with the nsx light.
The SLCs design has the projectors evenly spaced. I did not see the need to create a "dead-space" for a reflector-style turn signal. One could use an LED setup for DRLs or turn signals.
I visited the thermoforming shop today with what i thought were the finished molds. I say "thought" because I overlooked a key detail... An industrial grade thermoformer is MUCH more powerful than my little hobby-grade shop-vac-powered home version. The shop owner pointed out that simply supporting the surface of the mold with 2 dozen 1/4" dowel rods isn't enough to withstand the vaccum's strength. He suggested I pour bondo into the mold and that should do it.
I should be finished with the bondo-ing procedure this weekend. The thermoformer says it will take about a week to produce the molds and start forming the first lenses and shrouds.
I will probably go ahead and have 10 complete sets formed to start.

George, as one of the customers who sent in a deposit let me assure you, while excited about what you are doing I am not in a hurry to rush the process. Take your time and keep improving the design until you are confident the finished product will be one that we'll all be proud to have on our cars. Trust, in your ability to produce a great product was the major reason I was willing to send in a deposit.
As far as the recommendations on improving the product I feel they can only help in your decision making. I always believed in business that if two people always thought alike - one wasn't needed. I also, always, reserved the right to make the final decision and was willing to accept that responsibility.
If you are going to offer options they should be limited to ones that will improve upon the base design not ones that will simply lower the price. If it doesn't meet your base expectations no one is going to say, "I know they don't really look right but I didn't want to spend the money". Protect your product and rep. by only putting out a product your proud of and know that it will enhance the looks and performance.
As a thought I do really like the looks of the lights on the corvette that was shown above.
Modding is ?

definatly true. I know there isn't a point in trying to make an cheap set of fixed lights since you can grab a set of depos r like $500 and expect the lenses to crack within a month. This is a project i've always wanted on my car ever since i bought it so i'm taking extra time to make it look bad-***....even if that means taking a step backwards sometimes to re-build a part that just doesn't look/work right.
The good news is that the most difficult part of the project is almost finished....and all this hand sanding is giving my arms a good workout....

I totally agree I don't mind waiting at all to make sure it's done right.

I don't mean to be the wet blanket in this love-fest, but I really REALLY hope that you lose the LED strip across the top above the lenses on the previous page in that top pick. It looks horrendous.
Don't get mad at me, TRF, you know I'm a fan, but those closely spaced LED's in a straight row like that just look awful (to me, at least). It really cheapens the look.

IMHO, I think it might be just a little too much goin' on. So far, I'm REALLY liking the progress pics posted thus far. Can't wait for the final product!
