George I have said it before and will say it again... you suck ! I go out and get your light cannons and then you make these incredible lights! You are unbelievable... I am nearly tempted to spend more money on these but then I would miss out on the next incredible product you come out with! Nice work again! I can't wait to see your finished product, they look great.
Any chance of buying just the halo style lights and the lens that way we could do a custom shroud if we wanted to.
If you want to sure. The only problem is that the lens is specifically designed around (and bolts to) the shroud. What were you thinking of doing?

Well there's pop up and fixed. This project will conclude my crazy-assed-awesome headlight tinkering. Feel free to write me a check
I am not so sure about that. You will probably come up with something to turn night into day without blinding people.
Ahh the new AOD bulbs (antimatter optical discharge) bulbs. They no power source, only a contact trigger. They also come with a metamorphic projector that adapts to weather conditions, speed, direction and will automatically strobe if a cell phone signal is detected in front of you
wowwo looks amazing, hey can you also offer them painted... I have a white vehicle and would like the inside part of the light to match the vehicle color ... I can't wait to see the final finished product it would be amaznig..

I would suggest having them painted locally with the car on site. The reason being, there are several different "white" colors. Even if you use the same paint code, each car is a little different based on the original color batch, the amount of sun the car has been exposed to, the type of air the car has been exposed to (sea air, etc). There are just too many factors. A good body shop can do a perfect match. Someone on the other end of a phone or email rarely has a chance.

ABS is offered in white. For a $25 fee, I could get you a shroud set made in white. This will make painting a LOT easier since fewer layers would be required. I wold reccomend this to anyone wanting to paint-match a light colored car (white, yellow, quicksilver etc)

Have you done any testing for any heat issues? Would we have to have special paint on the fiberglass piece to handle the heat output by the lights? I don't know anything about paint or fiberglass just making sure all bases are covered.

Heat is not a concern with these lights. Even after several minutes of testing, the projector is cool enough to handle bare-handed. ABS begins to deform around 300 degrees and automotive paint can withstand houston heat in direct sunlight.
ABS is flexable and may grow/shrink slightly with significant temperature changes. As long as your painter uses a good primer and paint i don't forsee much of a problem. Previous paint on ABS tests have shown that even rattle can paint doesn't flake, crack or chip without severe deformation of the ABS.
Absolutely amazing work you're doing. I definitely admire it--but I do want to voice my concern about the brightness and angles you're using. I hope this doesn't end in a flame war but there are a LOT of ricers here in florida that have rediculously bright HID's in their ****box aimed directly into my mirrors to burn my retna. It's like staring at the sun when i try to drive home.

George, I can't speak for Lance (obviously hehe) but might be interested in this option as well. Overall, the shroud came out pretty slick, but I would personally want the top of the projector covered by the shroud. You've got to design for best production and most popular look, and I understand that.
How easy would it be to "add" to the shroud? E.g. could I use glass or body filler to build a cover over the back of the light from the beauty ring to the top of the "tube" in your shroud? To my taste, that would make the shroud about a 9/10
