Stealth Light Cannons: Development process
When the shroud is complete is it going to completely cover the top of the projectors? In the pic below the lights would be exposed (the top part) im just curious if that will be covered? I know that was very early in the process, which is why im asking.

Also you come to a decision on a final price yet
I might, just might have to either sell or set aside my Light Cannons and get those. When they are done they are going to look fantastic.
Will those projectors come with the 2.0 LC upgraded shields?
I tore apart the molds I made yesterday and started over. The new design uses longer PVC shroud tubes cut at a sharper angle that more closely matches the contours of the car’s fender. I also got to use my new sander to make the “cut” perfectly flat instead of the guesswork I did with the earlier version. I measured them out so the longer tubes do not affect the beam width.
The thing that really sucks is that if i managee to get one side perfect, i have to do the exact same thing again for the other side. reminds mee of what one of my teachers said in elementary school: "once is luck, twice is skill"

Tomorrow starts stage II. Should be rather quick since the form came out so smooth. I havee an appointment with the plastics shop on wednesday so it needs to be finished by then.....pressure's on

Those of you in the GP spot saver will get a $125 Discount from the final price of your kit. Spot Saver program ends Friday Oct 23. To get in the spot saver program, please send me an email to: radioflyer97@gmail.com
Upgrades that will be available
- 100w Halogen high beam: +$25
Upgrades that are being considered/tested:
- LED strip style DRL +$50
- CCFL halos: +$100
- "Evil-eye" Halos: +$200
HID high beams will NOT be available for this kit due to clearance issues of the high beam bulb. Preliminary testing showed an HID bulb in the high beam doesn't product much additional output. A 100w bulb will be more than enough of an upgrade.

Question: those of you interested, do you plan to paint the shroud to match your body color, or paint the lens with an "eyebrow" or both?
1) You should strongly consider shaping the area above the projectos slightly. The best would be follow the lines of the tubing along the top of each projector, making them taper back. It would be very easy to do with filler, and would compliment the hood lines nicely.
2). My other thought is - why have the lenses at all? If the projector is sealed, they're really unnecessary, and just add a lot of cost. Specterwerks has a similiar no-lense headlight, but yours is FAR superior due to the "stealth" design.
The tubing does look good, but that can't be the only detail/shaping with or without a lense. Trust my artist's eye on this one.
I would like a lens on this one. Perhaps a contoured lens may be the best of both worlds. I can imagine that would not bode well for the cost though. IMO, that would be the coup de grace though. It would match with the lines of the C5 well. Look more organic.
I would like to see the top part of the projector covered under the shroud. In other words just the lense on the projector exposed not the black plastic casing. May be asking for much considering we dont have much room to work with and we want the price to remain low.
Lol, either way im excited and cant wait to get some on my car.
