I am soooooooo happy today!!!! 🥴 😄 😎 😲 🤪 🤯 Grape is back home where he belongs and I have my bad habit back. He looks great but I do have some work to do. Put the custom stuff back on, do the cleaning of the seams to my standards and fix a couple little issues I said I'd take care of. No big because I love working on this thing.
Finally, the long awaited return of Grape Ape. Happy for you buddy and well worth the wait. Grape looks amazing.
Now back to the fun stuff. Will you be installing a front emblem Mark?
Thanks, been a long time for sure but I wasn't to upset with the time-frame. It was hot here anyway and I wasn't going to be doing anything with it. The emblem will remain off for a while. I like the look for now.

The Grape Ape was one of the first C5's I saw on this forum. From day one I have been blown away with how superb it is. Glad he is back home where he belongs. Thanks for sharing this journey.
Congrats on getting him back. I know it was a long wait. He looks absolutely fantastic! I'm looking forward to seeing the upcoming video. I also look forward to seeing him out in the sun after you've finished all the small remaining bits. I know you're gonna have a lot of fun with him.

On the one hand, I wish my car looked as nice as yours. On the other hand, I really enjoy driving my car, and I don't think I would enjoy it as much because I would be scared to drive it. It's kind of a catch 22. Oh well, I guess I'll continue to make my car look as nice as I can while also continuing to drive it and have fun (even if those two things are counter to one another).

could not have said it better, one of the reasons I sold my C5, always afraid of something happening to it bought a 2013 Z06 that's not perfect but something I feel I can drive the wheels off !! (I love the Grape Ape)
