Default I can program them to be whatever you want.

I'll be the first to admit that I don't exactly know how the mode button really works. I know by selecting the different modes, the car does drive differently, but it does that in stock configuration.
I can program them to be whatever you want.

2005 C6 has 3 modes using the traction button and

2006 - 2013 has 2 modes.

I prefer to set them the same, but for anyone with a special want it's very easy for me to do.

Call any time.

It significantly improves/changes the throttle response and makes it a blast to drive. Seems like SP 5/6 is just fine for street driving. Thanks to all who have provided feedback on this device! Money well spent in my opinion - can't go wrong with this simple but significant mod!
I did the same and with all the pics from previous posts it installed with no problems Thanks everyone.

Need a liitle help with install. 12 GS M6. Trying to get the connections done at the gas pedal. There is a piece of plastic trim that covers the tops of the pedals. It is all but impossible to get hands up in there. Does that piece need to come out? The only connection I can see is more over the brake pedal/clutch than over the gas pedal. In its location, I can't even come close to reaching it. Oh.....I am plenty small, young, and fit/flexible enough to get all the way under the dash, so that is not an issue.

Yes you need to remove the close out panel under the dash. The big black one. It's easy, look for the push pins if my memory serves. Maybe two screws on the edge on mine from memory, but my car's an old lady compared to yours.

Yeah, two push pins if I remember correctly from meth install. I think they're towards the seat side of that panel (rear of car), not towards the pedals.

My car is a 12 Centennial. I asked the same question earlier in this thread. The advice I was given was to push up on the plastic panel on the edge closest to the pedal and that there is plenty of flex in the panel to expose the connector by doing that. Haven't tried it yet. Please let me know if it works.

I could not get the panel to flex enough. Removing the panel was easy enough. There are THREE push pins. Two are located at the rear of the panel (closest to where your knees would be when driving, the third is towards the front of the panel on the left side right by where the a/c vent is. The panel will hang from the wires to the foot well light. Once removed, there is plenty of room to get to the connector.

I fought with the connector for a while. I needed a flat head screwdriver to push the little grey retaining pin out. Then i fought with the connector for a while and then it just popped apart with almost no effort. That was weird.

Connecting the gizmo was easy enough at that point. I went through the programming directions but the gizmo acted like it was already programmed. I thought that was strange. Started the car and got a reduced engine power warning and service traction control. CRAP....

I checked the connections at the gas pedal and found one side was not seated all the way. Started the programming process again and it worked fine. Still have a CEL, but I am guessing that will clear after a few cycles.

I only had a chance for a short test drive and the gizmo seems to perform as advertised. At SP0, the car felt stock, as I dialed up towards SP9, the car got MUCH more responsive. Going towards the EC4 side, the car felt like it was dragging an anchor....no matter how much gas I gave, the car just would not go. BTW...I have a cam, headers and tune, dyno'd at 488 RWHP.

I am looking forward to playing around with the settings more when I have time to drive in less congested traffic.

I've played with the settings on mine for the past couple of days and have settled on SP5 for my evening commute and SP6 for "normal" driving. SP5 provides good throttle response without kicking the tranny down a gear or unlocking the torque converter when relatively lightly pressing on the gas. SP6 provides immediate throttle response and easy, immediate gear drops when you step on the gas.

The EC modes, especially 4 and 5, definitely make it feel like the gas pedal is pushing back against your foot and it's difficult to keep your highway speed up. I intend to play around with the EC modes a little more when there isn't any traffic, just so I know what EC7 feels like. I can imagine it would be great if you ever Valet park.

Not sure how you guys were able to disconnect the harness but for my 09 I had to un-mount the whole pedal assembly. That little grey area has a lock snap that has to be pressed in order to disconnect the harness. Removing the 2 bolts on the assembly was no big deal.

Plugged it up and the Vitesse works as expected - nice smooth power the way I want it without hesitation or nanny feeling. Probably was worth the $$. However, I may be looking into the Diablo Trinity - if that does the same thing I may put my Vitesse up for sale.

Since my car is not a daily driver and SP6 seems about right, I'm going to Velcro the head unit underneath and out of the way - I'm not going to hack up any ash trays or center consoles.

For those of you that mounted in the ash tray, did you remove the tray or did the controller fit in the ash tray? Where did you have to drill a hole and how big?

Your ECU will not allow you to increase the Throttle response as much as what you have now with the Controller.

We did some testing with HPTuners on a 5th Gen Camaro V8 and the maximum increase we were able to get was not more than 30% of what the Controller could do. In other words, you get 3 times better response with our Controller.
