NavTool

Camera is installed and video lead in the Driver's kick panel.
HDMI lead run from the console to the Driver's kick panel.
All I need is to get my hands on the Navtool. I don't see me getting it all done until some time Wednesday.

1 Unplug at audio receiver (for everyone)
2 plug-ins at audio receiver (wire splice and unit, for everyone)
1 blue unplug at HMI
1 blue plug-in at HMI
2 blue plugs at Navtool (for everyone)
1 video plug at Navtool (for me, only using 1 front camera)
1 HDMI plug at Navtool (for video streaming)
Sounds like the prime example of plug and play to me. (Provided it works as advertised)
Close up what you opened to get to the plug-n-play part.
I totally agree with you! This appears to be very easy! I'm gonna just grump at getting the stuff out of the way to GET to the plug-n-play stuff!

I think it'll be worth it to stop from using my splitter as a curb feeler!

I took two end shots of the elusive end caps as well. One end cap looks like it was not professionally cut out. Thats just my 44 years of experience as a tool and die maker talking though. What do I know?
Emer I hope you'll be able to talk us less than stellar electronics guys through this install with some good instructions and pictures!!!
Let the games begin!!!!

Well, I'll have it installed by Thursday if my back will let me crawl around in the car and play contortionist!

I agree, one end does look machined and the other looks like they decided not to wait and alter it to fit the other end. It looks like we now have some insight into the end cap issue. Hey, they at least made an effort to get some out. Hope your back mends and allows you to install it but if not - we have waited this long-we can wait for your back to allow you to install it.
