Cut a 1.69-1.70 and you will be in the 11.6-low 11.70s. if you are spinning your car can do it on a well prepped track.
Hey Yell03,
I just could not come out as hard......spinning and fishtailing. I definitely can see 11.70's which is my goal in stock form. Actually, I was surprised to see 11.88 with a not so good 60ft.[/QUOTE]
Wow, I think the fastest guys are able to just stomp it and go.
Ask Snorman what he does.
I don't think they have to roll in to the throttle, but ATCO is prepped very well.

It was just a bad and struggling night at Bradenton Track. I had six runs and all 5 were 12 second runs.....just could not get off the line without spinning. So I just back off a bit on the 11.88 run. And that was somewhat in the better lane. Just to let you know, I pretty much a drag racer but only with those fast motorcycles. I just think the cooler weather had a little effect on the track. I will be going again in the future for more improvement.

That is rough, I can tell you know what you are doing, just bad track prep.

Congratulations to Vengeance, for the record.
I only had one opportunity at the track to go for the record at this power level. After numerous oil-downs and track clean-ups, it took me until the 3rd pass to get there. Unfortunately, I now have to return the car to stock because I have another project car coming and I am running out of time.
Records are made to broken. Congratulations Farmer
Thank you, your car appears fast . If you have to feather the throttle, then track prep is off. Or temp. Is to low ! I use low for the burn out, you cant do to much DR'S or Stock! then, shift to drive before stageing. Don't try & launch over 1,800. If it won't hook all at once 60' is done. Good luck, these cars remind me of the 57 Chev. We ran in the mid 60' blue printed, 5:13 rears stock 283's turning in the 12s beating the GTOS & SS 396 Chevelles. But everything was in the 60' any mistakes & we were done!

Thanks Farmer for your personal insight on the matter. Actually, I left at idle and floored it on a few passes. That probably caused me to break the tires on the 60's. On my very last pass, I just settled down just to make a good pass.....11.88. The track prep at Bradenton was very tricky on this time out, so I was dealing with two elements......track prep and low track temperature. There was a lot of down time due to cars breaking down, so it was difficult for me to get in the rhythm if you know what I mean. And you are right, if it wont hook the 60' is done and a not so good ET. I'll try to do a better job next time out.
Great pass, I know exactly what you mean ! Don't know what your DA was cold temp was helping you, but hurting your lanch, must have good track prep! Good Luck, have a nice Thanksgiving.

I was at Richmond Dragway today racing my CTS-V and had the pleasure of watching Mr. Farmer's C7 run probably ten 11.3x passes. Very impressive consistency, especially since some of them were hot laps. He should bracket race that car!

Thanks, that was the best we could do! Track prep by Johnny Davis & his guys was outstanding. We ran 11.385 11.384 11.373 11.372 . We left the track really down thinking thč A-8 had run 11. 370 only to find out it was 11.377. Snorman said 30s were possible he was right. We new the A-8 could out run the A-6 with almost 123mph. But we thought we saw a weakness, with its 4:56 1st gear they might have trouble hooking with stock tires. Only way we could beat him would be 60' it worked today. Thanks to Zack, Matt, Justin. This has been alot of fun !
