But we thought we saw a weakness, with its 4:56 1st gear they might have trouble hooking with stock tires. Only way we could beat him would be 60' it worked today. Thanks to Zack, Matt, Justin. This has been alot of fun !
As a witness it was awesome to see a stock C7 run these low ets! Great job, Will!

Default fast !

Methanol or E85
Built and Tuned by Jeremy Formato at Fasterproms
Currently the 2nd Fastest Manual C7 in the World

Congratulations to Vengeance, for the Straight drive the way we did it in the 60's , nice pass!

I only had one opportunity at the track to go for the record at this power level. After numerous oil-downs and track clean-ups, it took me until the 3rd pass to get there. Unfortunately, I now have to return the car to stock because I have another project car coming and I am running out of time.[/QUOTE]

Thank you, for your help, I didn't have a clue the car we call California Chrome could close that much of a gab. We joke about, Its almost as if it knows what we are asking. Thought I would sell it when the Z-06 comes in.
But It's run so good I would feel guilty doing that, maybe retire him & put him out for stud !

We owe everything to Johnny Davis, for great track prep, & most of all for opening Richmond Drag way up at 40° Sat. morning, after getting.back from the VA. TECH. / VA. Game at 4:00 in the morning Thank You ! We planned MIR as a backup would not have worked with 50° weather !

Congrats to you guys as well. Definitely getting it done on your end.. Like you, I wish we had more seat time as I really wanted to put our car in the 9s before we sold it, but one track outing was all we had time for.

Our C7Z (M7) arrives today so we will have to settle for putting it in the 8s

Wonder if timing a machine messed up. Just weird ..

But damn those auto are fast..

So you use launch control on auto or turn traction control off?

On manual the PTM modes suck on drag strip pulls power on shifts

I never use launch / traction control, these cars hook great without it once you figure out were to stall it to.

We keep on trying to hit the 10s with out any bolt. The car is now fully tune on e85 and 93. The runs were made on Ccw skinnies front and z06 c7 rear wheels on 315-30-18 Hoosier. 2014 base model c7 6A the car is making 460hp at the wheels on e85

Thanks everyone, I would like to think it did. We went a 11.31 with great weather conditions a few weeks ago, bone stock and today ran a 11.32 with weather conditions not the best so im assuming maybe it made up for it.
