So my totally stock C7 A6 is faster than a tuned car with headers AND drag radials.....?
Something just does not add up......WTF?
Well that's a M7. We haven't seen a bolt on C7 A6 as of yet. However,I believe with the same set up.....headers, tune and drag radials the A6 could see high 11.30's low 40's. Your time is fast. And I am going to take your advice as far as track prep.
To compare need the same time same track! Side by side is best!
His is likely faster than yours!
Same track, same day......yep, I totally agree. Since he is in Orlando, that may happen......OSW or Bradenton, I have run both tracks and my times were within 1/10 of a second of each other.
Weather plays an important part in the "quickness" equation also...

I've raced all over and Ohio is about .2-.3 slower than Atco or tracks in Florida.. I'm happy with a 12.07 first time on the track with it and with the M7. Without the traction control on, it just spun through 2nd gear. My last four passes were 12.801, 12.582, 12.322 and 12.0748 in that order.

Reason: add
I wanted to add, I didn't know the launch control worked on the Non-Z51, even though I have it on my list above. I just used the normal traction control and left at about 1/2 to 2/3 throttle. I tried to leave harder and it acted like it overwhelmed the traction control and the back of the car would step out.
Everything stock, except the Halltech Stinger-Hybrid Cold Air Induction. Stock air fuel ratio, stock MAF transfer curve.
55 degrees, tires warm, first try at our local 1/4 mile. This is an unmarked pass, but the 0-120, appears to be a pretty decent acceleration from our intake. Full disclosure: I played with the torque management to allow better throttle response, but the MAF transfer curve is bone stock as well as the PE/RPM. Added +2 degrees timing for our 93 Octane fuel here. Nothing else done. Traction was ok, but this was our one and only pass. On a warm day, 11.0s should be possible.
I know the keys to this ECM. One of the them controls power at 70% of full, 90%, and 100%. If you are driving during a 70% torque management day, or dyno testing without being aware of this hidden area, guess what happens to your pull?

The Chevy SS will do a 12.9 in the 1/4 not 12.0, unless it is modified. Your C7 will have notthing to worry about.

Here is my time slip. Disregard the notes at the bottom......I did not use launch control. This was my very first time at the track with this car. I was a little surprised. I believe the car has a little more in it.....with just a little more rpm. I was probably around 1800 rpm on the last pass. Car is an A6 non-Z51. I used track mode and traction control off all three runs. Triple black convertible. Track conditions posted by Jeremy Formato on post #94......as we ran the same night. Please enter me on the fast list
Just got the car back from Slowhawk Performance a couple of weeks ago and brought it to JW 's rental at Lebanon Valley on Friday. Ran with only 8 lbs boost ,waiting for roll bar then to 12 lbs and then ?
