I've raced all over and Ohio is about .2-.3 slower than Atco or tracks in Florida.. I'm happy with a 12.07 first time on the track with it and with the M7. Without the traction control on, it just spun through 2nd gear. My last four passes were 12.801, 12.582, 12.322 and 12.0748 in that order.
I'm picking my z51 up on the 18th and i will then be out trying to break some records for the m7 at kilkare!
Just got the car back from Slowhawk Performance a couple of weeks ago and brought it to JW 's rental at Lebanon Valley on Friday. Ran with only 8 lbs boost ,waiting for roll bar then to 12 lbs and then ?

Congrats on the times! Curious if the car was tuned on the larger drag radials? Thinking it'd be faster on a 305/35r18 or even faster with a 315/30r18 if tuned for the shorter tire, hope that helps.

You might be correct . Not sure what the different diameter tires would do to the computer. This was first time out so it will take a little trial and error to optimize times .Not sure of what we want rear ratio to be or if it should pass through the traps in third or fourth gear. My ultimate goal is to be able to hit the high nines and still keep the motor together .
Funny thing is best launch ( lowest 60' ) was at 1200 rpm's ,tried 1500, 2000 and a bonzi launch at 2500 none faster than my 1.57 @1200 rpm's .Go figure !

Wasn't sure if you're a Z51 or not. If so I can see the 325/40r18 working out perfectly for top of 3rd, but if not it appears 305/30r18 would be geared perfectly for top of 3rd with 2.56. Not sure how much the 315/30r18 would help if requiring the extra shift to 4th, but the gearing and parasitic loss from weight could be enough to offset it I imagine. Yeah flashing the converter usually gets the most rpm out of it off the line, no need to load it up and thin out fluid to try to get it to stall higher. Looking forward to you going faster next time!
Here is my time slip. Disregard the notes at the bottom......I did not use launch control. This was my very first time at the track with this car. I was a little surprised. I believe the car has a little more in it.....with just a little more rpm. I was probably around 1800 rpm on the last pass. Car is an A6 non-Z51. I used track mode and traction control off all three runs. Triple black convertible. Track conditions posted by Jeremy Formato on post #94......as we ran the same night. Please enter me on the fast list
Glad I saw this, I have a C7 A6 Vert non-z51 also.
I don't have NPP, does yours?
What was the weather like on your runs?
I went to the track 2 weeks ago with my C7 and ran 11.6 @ 126 mph. My C7 is M7 trans, stock tires, NEP VVT Cam, ARH mid length headers, NEP exhaust and that's it. The D/A was +2000. Timeslip below

Post#94 by Jeremy Formato will give you the accurate weather that day because we both ran the same day. My car has the NPP option. I really don't believe the mufflers make a difference at the 1/4 mile track. I am trying to be patient and wait until this fall to make another bone stock pass before I do other modifications. Hence, my car seems to be a little quicker than 11.94@116. I only had three runs with that being first time at the track.

That is one fast car with just a cam only. Is the VVT DOD or just the drop in cam? I know that Texas Speed had both for the Camaro.

forgot, yes its a Z51,thanks for the tire suggestion .the 3/4 shift comes at exactly the worst time ,just before the lights . Now Im waiting for a roll bar before I go back to the track .Then Im shooting for low 10's or into the nines . Shh no cage just trying to sneak by with a roll bar don't want to completely ruin the car like I did to my GN.
