I didn't use launch control and never even planned on putting tires on it until Mike convinced me to "see if they would fit" They were 345/35/18 MT on ccw 18" wheels off of his zr1...They stuck out a bit but man did they hook....I pretty much heated the crap out of the tires and let the clutch go at 4500rpm and it hooked every bit of it with no bog. It was at PBIR Sunday for the street car drags, it was awesome....Being a GTR owner also it felt pretty good to leave one right of the line and beat him with my stock c7...There were afew other c7s there I got to see and chat with the owners, what a awesome event....Thanks again guys!

That is awesome! It shows in the 60' for sure. With a way to get the torque management out, the 60' should be even better! I'd say 1.5X or so. The MPH was hurt slightly by the huge wide tires

Some of you guys that are running these awesome times, trapping 120 mph in stock form, I want to see what the car will do with long tubes and tune!

For example, VNAMVET's pass, trapping 120 mph.

What do you think this trap speed would be with the addition of long tubes and a tune? Only other entry with these mods is Matt from Tune time, and his trap speed was actually slightly less than 120mph.

Maybe I overlooked it. Is there anybody on here that has ran a C7 with a supercharger that DID NOT use spray? Only passes I can find of those that have a supercharger are using spray as well. I'm curious to see what the car does with only a supercharger.

Also, anybody make any passes with long tubes and a tune only other than tune time? These are the times I'm most interested in but it doesn't seem many are making passes.

I've made passes with long tube ARH 1 3/4 and tune. Not nearly as impressive as what the other guys here in the forum...

Very nice time!!! What wheels did you mount your drag radials on and how did you launch, if you don't mind me asking?

Default Torque management

Hey guys, it looks like a few have mentioned that it would be nice to tune out the torque management. I am sorry if this is a novice question, but can't you just deactivate traction / stability control with one click of the button in Touring, Sport, or Track?

That keeps it out of PTM and it seems like my foot is the only thing metering out torque at that point.

Those are some great times you guys are posting.

Thanks. With the stock runflats I couldn't get lower than a 2.0 my first time at the track so I switched over to dr's fast. There was no point for me trying to go any faster with stock tires I'd even spin a little going into third gear.

I got the dr's on some c5 zo6 rims. I take the tc off but leave stabilitrac on in case it needs to save me. I launch it around 4k rpm and let the clutch out swiftly but without dumping it. Got my best time on my 2nd of 3 runs that night. I'm sure I can cut a 1.6 60' with a few more runs of practice.
