I also think you should list whether it's a BASE or Z51 like they do on the C6 list. Gives a better comparison profile.

What I gather from looking at this list, it looks like the non-Z51 cars withOUT the NPP cars are faster than the ones with the Z51 and NPP. And cars WITH the Z51 package and NPP needs headers and a tune to be able to trap the same speed as the stock non-Z51/NPP cars. Why is that??? Coincidence?

Gearing has a bit to do with trap speed. FYI

Yeah I know, but why would the gearing in the Z51 equipped cars be "slower" than the cars with the standard gearing? Shouldn't the Z51 gearing result in faster times?

Do not get wrapped around just the rear end gearing (2.73 vs 3.42).
The A6 goes thru the traps at the top of 3rd, pulling hard. The A6 tranny is definately made for the strip.

The 7 speed has you shifting into 4th before the finish line, not in the maxium power band.

Not sure how you can possibly make that conclusion by looking at this list. There is only one stock non Z51 non NPP car on the list and it is 3rd in ET on the list. While it does have the fastest trap speed on the stock list, Snorman has run a faster trap (120mph) while doing a 11.5 ET. What are you looking at to make your conclusion? Maybe you don't realize that Snorman's car is a Z51/NPP car because it is not listed? That could cause confusion.

Default Suggestion in good faith, i.e. do the right thing "now" from the beginning.

See C6 Tech/Performance 1/4 mile list for conformity. The last thing listed in all the "categories" is the "POST #" in (----) by itself.

Already the post number is being left out in some of the categories for the C7. With the post number being the last thing by itself a person can find it in a heart beat and then go fine it for more information as suggested. Also like the C6 section I would add in for if someone wants to give details of their run like tire pressure, launch rpm, fuel amount, etc.

EDIT: In fact I would "mirror" the C6 list except for maybe the 1/8 mile list at the bottom. That way the "forum" would have real conformity; most C7 owners were C6 owners and if your looking around the site it makes things easier to understand for any/everyone. Amen

Matt the best rule or clarification is the ruling on the stock car classes, ONCE TUNED YOU CANT GO BACK, in my opinion that rocks

That would do it lol. I did not know that. If he was on the list, I wouldn't of been able to come to that conclusion.

Awesome 60 foot! How did you launch it??? Guys with DR's can't even get those 60 foots due to torque management!
