Here is my best pass from today, the air had gotten warm by then though. Just learning how to launch it.



Was looking for more MPH, but it was the first time. I'm sure I'll do better when I get some more miles on it. I also think this track is on the stingy side based on what I saw other cars running.

Especially a bone stock one lol. I needed an x-pipe, CAI, Tune, and drag radials to run 11.74@118 in my 2012 Mustang. I think I can top that in this car and it's showroom stock.

This car is consistent too, I made 8 passes today and the slowest was 12.05 and the quickest was 11.90. 3 of them were literally in a row, no waiting in the staging lanes or anything I just drove around and ran it again. I went 12.05 first pass ever, came back around and went 11.91 second pass ever, and then came back around and raced (actually destroyed) a 2015 Mustang and went 12.02. The next 4/5 were in the 11's.

Then I put it back in Tour mode and drove home with my AC on in the ballin-est interior I have ever seen. What a car

Default Took the Z to MIR Today :-)

With 550 miles on her, I can tell she's getting faster but I don't believe that were totally through the break-in. So the ECU may still be holding us back, I couldn't resist the urge to take her to the track today. The weather was pretty good, so I headed outto Maryland international Raceway. The car is a 1LZ, A8. First run out was a 10.9, did a back to back run and went 10.77 @ 129. I was very surprised, and pleased, that this thing ran in the 10's on its first runs at the track! Now it's time for a C7 Z06 FAST LIST

Talking with Richmond this wk. end to decide on a date, based on magazine test we thought the Z06 would run low 11s but Sundays 11.77 with only 550 miles was a surprise. Not sure it's worth doing heads up. Will post by Tuesday thanks for yalls interest.

Also for those of you drag racing autos are you leaving it in D? I tried to paddle shift mine on the street and there's a huge delay from when I hit the paddle to when it shifts, I am assuming the paddles are for road racing not drag racing.

The unfortunate thing is the transmission seems to short shift when left in D, or maybe the tach just can't keep up in the lower gears because it revs so fast.
