Thats really good power on pump gas. My car with similar setup but E85 made 450hp/472tq and ran 11.0s@125. Would have gone 10s in better air. I was impatient and moved on to the next round of mods.

Good luck getting into the 10s that will be awesome!! These cars truly amaze me of what they are capable of.

We began this project with the intent to get 500whp with bolt ons only. E85 may not get us there in this A8 but I am pretty confident that we can replicate this package and make 490whp in A8 and over 500whp in M7 cars.

No matter what I think with E85 we can take top spot in the bolt on class. We shall see

Sick run without the E85 it now proves that the M7 performs just as good as the a8 woh same mods

Seems like the ported intake and TB helped a lot

All except that my car is an A8. Does the M7 car show higher on dyno, yes. Will it go toe to toe with an A8 in a drag race, I doubt it

This is my first Auto car since my first vette in 1997. This A8 is the real deal

it's not far off in the 1/4 compared to a hellcat 8speed vs a hellcat 6 speed the 8 speed is a lot faster

I did three runs my first time out, used launch control all three times, and I had two 11.9's and an 11.8 (Post #588 on previous page - with video).

My tire pressure was 32lbs (stock basiicly), and I did a small tire cleaning burnout after backing into the waterbox. I attribute the 11.8 to a perfect staging, which gave me the most rollout possible. I just kissed the second lights.

Dang, I forgot about deep staging. That could have helped the times as well.

You mean shallow staging, just turning on the second stage blub, deep staging is where people roll into the staging lights till they turn one of the two staging blubs off so they get a good reaction time.

Yep, exactly. Bolting together a LS7 motor and typing don't always work out. What you said is what I meant. Staying deep and barely tripping the second light is what I was getting at.

Agreed. Shallow. No matter what we call it, we are implementing the technique next time.

That 1.53 was done on the foot brake @ approx. 2200 rpm launch. In the thread that I posted the time slip in I said that I still thought there was a little left to get-ya. If you have not seen the thread and are interested it should be easy to find.
