Etching and markings all over new delivery. 10+ all around car. I’ve seen a few dozen other people post about the same issue. Forgive me if this is already somewhere in the thread.
However, this just does not make sense. Why would the dealer even accept this car from the transport without filing some sort of claim. Those guys are the only approved transport and they know what they are doing. I have watched cars being unloaded at MM and dealer personnel are right there on the spot when the shipping cover comes off. This car sure looks like it was handled (or transported) outside normal channels. The dirt and watermarks don’t even add up. Time for some polite hardball questions.

Suspicion is that it is the shipping covers.
Wow! That looks really bad. I don't know how comfortable I would be letting the dealer take care of that for me. I would first ask how they plan to take care of it, then ask if they had any cars there they had performed that work on so I could take a look. To me, these pics look like your car needs to be sent to a very competent paint shop. If you are planning to put PPF or ceramic on the car I would ask the dealer if they would pay for the work that has to be done to make this right if you aren't comfortable they can do it themselves.
My condolances on this Easter Sunday...Im sure you'll find more scrapes & scrateches after they clean the filth off the car....its apparent the cars were not covered while on the transport truck...sorry bud

Up Date...Kratedisease ....took your advice...stopped in to Huntington Chevrolet....excellent customer service...they brought the Vette Tech (Eric) in from the shop to meet me and he was very professional and knows the car very well...said he's already done (3) amp replacements on C8s with faulty Bose Amps...(1) of the (3) had the leaking A/C condensate line line under the passenger mat (see Service bulletin on prior post)...My Car goes in next Tuesday...he said he'll diagnose it and order a new Amp...not sure what the back log is but he said Bose has the replacement Amp with a different part number...so I guess its an inherent flaw in the design and Bose is now aware of it......stay tuned
.
Glad it is working out. I take both my C7 Z06 and C8 to Empire HUNTINGTON for any possible warranty work or complex mechanical issues. That tech ERIC is working on Corvettes every day. That dealership wants the business. They aim to please and have ZERO attitude. Empire Huntington employees and service writers treat Corvette owners like VIP.
For NON warranty work I have also used Vette Doctors (Not a Chevy dealer) in Amityville, had them add some carbon fiber parts to my C7 Z06 two days ago. Also highly recommended.
My 1 month old 22 has a loud brake noise when pressing firmly on the brake pedal. It sounds like a pad that has no material left and it's metal on metal. It's like a grinding noise. No unusual wear on the outside of the rotor and you can't see or feel the inside because of the dust plate. Anyone else experienced this or any ideas? Thanks.

Sounds like you may have a rock stuck in the brake. Between the shield and the disk is the usual location.
If this is the case, some have been able to eject the rock by driving in reverse and applying the brake.
Thanks. I'll give that a try but I would think if a stone etc is caught in there it would make the noise all the time not just when the pedal is pressed firmly.
Mine made a horrid sound that you never want to hear in your vehicle. Rotor was SCREAMING. I pulled over quickly and ran it forwards and backwards while pulsing the brake pedal. It eventually cleared up.
I expected to see a nasty groove in the pad or rotor when I inspected it, couldn't see a scratch! It was more damaging psychologically apparently.
Tried the reverse thing today. Brakes make the same grinding noise and feel the same in reverse. Also did nothing to solve the problem. I guess the next step is the dealer when I take it in to see if they can determine why one of my tires loses 1lb of air every 24 hours.

Sorry it didn't help. I would think there's a good chance both of your issues can easily be resolved.
I had a couple of areas where there were marks but I worked them out. They're obviously from the tape that holds the shipping covers.

I have used Liquid Glass Polish on several different vehicles. I have found that it has corrected minor paint blemishes, scratches, and swirls.

Wow, is that stuff still around? I used to use all the time when I was a teenager (40+ years ago). I liked the results, but remember it being hard to remove...

Yes it is around. Cannot get in CA because of VOC standards.
It has been through a few different formulations and lawsuits. Owner was put in prison. Hard to get stuff. Used to be $19.99 a can when it was sold here. Now it's $60+ per bottle.
It's easy on and easy off. Unlike alot of todays products, it isn't like you must apply different steps of same product i.e. z-1, z-2, z-3 z-4 , z-5, etc. Then repeat same steps and products again.
On one of my daily driven vehicles 31+ years old, It has saved the day many times from road debris, scratches in parking lots, paint blemishes from unknown sources. i.e. I have been hit by plywood on top of roof and it took care of the scratches on the roof as well as many other different incidents.
Early DCT Filter Change ... The Good and the Not So Good!
2022 Coupe - Jan Build. Based on the information on these forums and reading some of the Vette Titan's notes, I decided to change the DCT Filter at the 2,500 mile mark. I had previously added 1.8L of additional DCT fluid at 1,000 miles. On the "good" side the filter looked in fairly good shape with no major debris visible when I dismantled the used filter to look at the inside layers. Based on my observations I will have no reservations in waiting until the 7,500 mile service for the next filter change. However, upon dropping the shear plate I found a good amount of fresh DCT fluid on the shear plate and on the external parts of the transmission sump pan. I could see no evidence of leakage above the trans sump pan and concluded that the sump pan gasket was leaking. A quick check of the sump pan bolts found them all tight.
The trans leakage was the "not so good" part but I feel fortunate to have found this leak early because of doing an early DCT filter change. There was no evidence of oil drips on my garage floor but a little more checking shows that the air flow over the shear plate was enough to slowly push the leaking DCT fluid to the rear valance and then onto the exhaust where it was neatly burnt off!
The dealer says it is actually the solenoid valve cover (lid) plate gasket that is leaking and we are waiting parts. The location he identified as leaking is just in front of the drive shaft and in the areas that have been identified as being porosity-prone, but he feels 98.5% confident that it is just the cover leaking and not a porosity issue. Fingers crossed that he's right once the parts come in!
One last comment on the DCT Filter and its internal "pressure valve". A number of posters have referred to this as a "poppet valve" whose operation is either "OPEN" or "CLOSE" but the filter that I disassembled clearly have a valve that would open "PROPORTIONALLY" i.e acting as a pressure relief only for that fluid that couldn't pass through the filter materials.
