I was more making a joke... I think "People don't know what they want until you show it to them" was from Steve Jobs. Especially in tech... people can't be visionaries so most don't know they want something until someone else creates it.

well not only the c7 likely to be the last FE corvette, but the c8 will also likely be the last combustible engine. By the time c9 rolls around, electric engines with their incredible torque will rule the roads. So yeah, change is coming.

Only if they solve the range and/or recharge problem.

I don't have to. It's not necessary.

Expect the question "what car or cars do you have now" would be in any survey. Then questions about what you like don't like & wish you had.

I’ve gotten them from Ford, BMW, and Chevy in the last couple of years and they have asked what I own, what I’m considering and what my wishlist consisted of. Was never asked about ME configuration (and one of the calls was from someone who I understood to be part of Chevy Corp after I did not buy a C7).

Personally, I think it’s pretty silly that people are getting worked up over losing FE for ME.

I generally like the way ME cars look better, and they also have some performance advantages, so I am glad GM went that route. I just hope GM’s ME design actually looks good.

Easy you find another car. Like a Camaro. Or it seems that many here are of the AARP type, you go get a Lexus LC500 (more reliable than the last Vette you had) or go to the Toyota dealership and get the new Supra. Goes just as fast as the C7, with less hp. Or you can go to the BMW dealership and get a M850i or the new M8. Or get a used M6. All options given have room for bags, and are not mid engined. Problem solved

You are aware that people have been asking for a ME car for 50+ years. Zora retired 40 years ago & passed the mid engine torch to McLellan

I remember when I was pitching the idea that my organization ought to plunge wholeheartedly into the Internet to offer services (ISP, web site etc.). The "marketing guru" we hired came back and said the people didn't really want that based on a "marketing study" she had done for us. (P.S. I won that battle.)

The manual is gone and the convertible is gone. Hopefully, my C7 will give me years of good service. Regardless where the engine is.
Not that the C8 won't be very cool and even transformative, I am nevertheless glad that I got a C7 manual vert to play with for a few more years.

I was wondering how long it would take for that joke to fly

honestly, the reason my logo is bbb and not BBB is due to the BBB already existing.

I have known from the time I was in my teens that if I ever started a vette upgrade shop, I would have to use bbb as only it can be legally used and not trademark infringe on BBB

My initials are bbb. Mike does not start with B does it clever cats?

Sooner or later you guys will believe there are AT LEAST 2 of us behind this company and its projects.. and actually a few more.

It's amazing that out of the thousands of members here, about 5 asked for help to understand what was wrong with their cars, and are pursuing lemon law. You guys should have listened to mike instead of made fun of him. That was a 20-40+ thousand dollar mistake you just inflicted on yourselves huh?

Still think I'm Mike geniuses? Just like our lemon's aren't real huh? lol, good luck solving the universe's mysteries, you guys can't even figure out who I am and who Mike is, when his full name is on his youtube channel and I'm... me.... and he told you who I was, and we have put up videos of who I am.

You guys just do not absorb info at all huh?

Keep calling me Mike... let me know what name I should call all of you, and then I'll call you something completely different, and see if you think I'm a respectful person when I act towards you as so many of you do toward me.

We will make a documentary showing you the 8 lemon'd vettes... and the 8 owners, and then you can all have nervous breakdowns when you find out there's more than 1 person on planet earth who understand "a free corvette" for a problem GM refuses to solve... is a higher priority #1 to use your free time pursuing BEFORE you type for hours here on the forum.

but most of you couldn't quite make that decision on your own... for your own financial gains... even when it was spoon fed to you to "PM Mike for details."

Well done

Without a manual transmission and convertible, the C8 won't be worth buying to me. I think the novelty of the ME will be a big seller. Not having a manual transmission and a convertible, will likely have me sitting on the sidelines. I'm just elated that Corvette after 43 years quit making cr@p. The C7 was the first one worth buying new since 77-78. I love em once again!

copy and pasting 12 black rectangles onto a PDF and screen shotting it, is a difficult venture. Almost as tricky as PM'ing mike was, to learn for yoursleves how to save yourselves 40 grand of depreciation for a problem GM still has not fixed on most of your cars unless you have a 2019.

"that's okay, I would rather make fun of Mike, and call anyone with a lemon Mike too, and have an engine that runs lean and might blow up one day when its out of warranty, I'm smart"

"I think anyone who does not think we are geniuses, who also believe they can lemon their car, MUST BE ALL THE SAME PERSON! THERE COULD NEVER BE 2 PEOPLE ON EARTH SIMULTANEOUSLY THIS SMART WHO DON'T RESPECT OUR INTELLIGENCE AFTER WE CALL THEM THE WRONG NAME OVER AND OVER"

Define “people”.

Defend with facts.

note: I’m a big ME fan and there is a massive reason the C8 interests me, and it is mainly because it is ME.

You haven't ordered anything. There's no order sheets on any C8, thusly, there's no convertible. Go play now......
