You need a new Dealer. There is no reason that aftemarket wheels would be a deal killer.
Is there another Dealer close?
Ive been to all but one local dealer. But when GM was trying to help me find a close one to do a trans filter change they refused. So I don’t imagine them being much of a help either. Unfortunately it seems no dealer in a reasonable driving distance cares about me or the car. Since the car has had a few issues it’s made ownership a bit unpleasant to say the least. I got my car in another state so even though it shouldn’t have any thing to do with service they all seem to be very biased. GM is no help and won’t force the dealers to do anything, I’ve already been down that road.
So last update until after my next move. I tried to relearn the sensors again today after the car had sat for a couple days. Still can not even get the first wheel to register. I’m returning the tool because it’s useless. Could be that the car is a 2022 and I’ve read the frequencies changed. The tool I purchased was supposed to be compatible though. I took the car out for a twenty minute drive to see if it just needed more time but no luck.
It also seems the two sensors that came back on the drive home were stuck or frozen at the last pressure read before I lost them. They were 4lbs over cool pressures and I double checked with a gauge. I also done a hard reset of the computer by disconnecting and discharging recommended by another users. Now the new sensor is the only one working again and the other three are blank. Drive another twenty minutes no change.
So now I question if the car is capable of working with two different sensor brands? I’m thinking about taking it back to the wheel and tire shop and just have them replace the other three. This still doesn’t explain why the relearn process will not work and only got the process to work halfway one time. It also doesn’t explain the extreme traction management when the service light is on. I can’t find any information on it other than speculation.
Are these after market sensors or GM sensors? If you get GM sensors you might have better luck with the dealer looking at it. As well, if they are aftermarket ones are they sure they have the right ones? As you mentioned, with the 2022 the frequencies changed, so are the right sensors in place? Well, first track day with the 2023 C8 yesterday, and it appears I need a new trans according to my dealership, at a hair over 2k miles. I properly followed the break-in procedure and added the extra 2quarts of trans fluid, so hopefully this was just a defect and will not happen again. It’s a shame because I was making the car look very good relative to what the local track community has been seeing from C8’s 😬

Glad that you are keeping your emotions under control and approaching this with a level head. I hope you will be back on the road and on the track in no time 🙏. Keep us posted.
Yea, I’m definitely bummed, as it was extremely fun to drive and very impressive, but as long as they stand behind the product and its approved use I will try to be patient and hope for the best.

Nope it seemed perfect as far as I could tell. Never had any error codes of any kind, and the transmission shifted great. It was perfectly fine, from the 2 miles it was delivered with, until the end of the track day.
First beautiful day of the Spring today (its been surprisingly cool in Vegas this year) -- high in the 70's, bright sunshine, not a cloud in the sky....
I push the button to lower the top. NOTHING. Probably the switch is broken. Can't bring it in until next week. UGH.

That is just down right frustrating. I better go check mine. It is only 53F here in MA, but I have been topless in much cooler temps.
Update/ Edit: Very relieved and happy to report that the HTC worked fine. Really nice but short ride. More tomorrow!

Try using the key fob to lower the top. If it still doesn't go down than you have more than a door switch problem. I would also index the windows: they can prevent the top from going down.

So its not the switch that is preventing the top from moving. I can tell because if I hold down the top down button long enough the windows start to move like its in the sequence to start to make the top go down. No message appears on the TFT screen. Maybe a fuse to the electric motors, a relay, a switch, or worse. Hard to tell right now but I don't believe its the switch.
OK... finally got the car back after 5 days but that's another story.
The top stopped working because of the rubber access cap for the oil filler somehow blocked or froze the arms. They made the top go down manually and then freed up this rubber boot. I have no idea how it moved because I never touched the oil filler. And I don't know now to manually open the top but obviously there is some kind of method or tool.
Interestingly I lost my 3rd Rear tire by a nail so I replaced it. The price I got was about the same as the tire rack so I did it. But it needed an alignment. The cost was $250 which seems really high.
So it took all week to get one rubber boot moved, a tire and an alignment. Good thing I dropped it on Monday instead of Wednesday or I wouldn't have it over the weekend.
