Guys....Pls excuse me for being so repetitive, this is NOT-NOT a paint issue. Reference the dimples on the front bumper cover it is simply the flexible / pliable front cover laying on, conforming to something under the cover near the front edge that is pushing it outward, 1 in from the front edge front edge in 10 spots going around the entire bumper. For the door issue under each mirror, it is either a door molding issue or possibly something pulling inward on the panel, possibly the mirror mount, I don't know. I so wish I could capture these in a pic but its too many reflections. To verify this please call Trevor or Milos, Salesman, Manager respectfully at Hendrick Chevrolet in Raleigh NC, they have verified these issues on MULTIPLE cars
I scoured over my car after reading this and I found nothing. Probably help of there was a photo or something but it looks fine to me.
RT82, All I can say is I hope someone at GM is listening to your complaints and working on this so that all of us will not have the same problems with our cars, which are yet to be built. I know this must be rough for you and I appreciate the heads-up about these problems to look out for when we take delivery. I currently own two vehicles that I purchased new, both built in the USA, and I've never had any problems like this. The workmanship on both was excellent.

I don’t have any problems with mine.
Honestly at delivery you’re just going to have to accept it and hope a dealer fixes it later, but don’t know what there is to fix.
The service guy said they were instructed to replace the whole tranny even if it is a small leak. not sure how true that is.
Then I'd tell them to order the transaxle and give you a call when it comes in. You've put 2200 miles on it, been driving it for nearly a year, and hadn't noticed a leak. It's not like another 4-6 weeks of driving is going to make a difference. No reason to hold the car hostage because GM can't get a transaxle in a reasonable amount of time.

I made a video showing the very slight surface aberrations on the nose of the car. The only real way to see them is to get an object that has high contrast in the background and to watch the reflection of the object deform as you move your camera/eye position around. Pretty subtle.
I have ZERO lines or other defects in my doors. Door are flawless.
I wish I could say the rest about the rest of my paint and body panel fitment. I have a couple areas with fairly significant TRASH under the clearcoat. Enough to make a raised up spot and depending on lighting and angles, you can see it a lot easier than you can the 5 or so aberrations in the front.
My rear fender on passenger side is also sticking out quite a bit. I am not sure if this can just be popped back into place, but I am a little concerned about just trying to pop it back after seeing how easily the paint peels up and tears with the headlight fitment issue. Sometimes it is better to just leave well enough alone.
The trash in my paint isn't worth the effort to correct and I just consider this the difference between a $250k car and a $98k car. If I didn't point it out, 99% of the people wouldn't even see it. The paint/SMC damage under my hood though, several people have spotted it and asked WTF is that?
Ok, here is a video of the "dimples" in the front. You have to look at the reflection to see the edge deform as the video pans left/right. (try to ignore the other crud, but only look at the reflection in the paint).
This file is actually a MP4. You have to rename it, my video converter isn't working well at the moment.

Pictures of my rear bumper alignment issue. Anyone know if you can just force this into alignment or is there a proper fix for this? Good side Bad side
Here are some pictures of the rather significant piece of trash under my clear coat.
In some pictures / angles, it just looks like a slightly larger reflective metallic flake in the paint. I think a lot of this is due to the camera's difficulty in capturing the image.
Best case to see it is to get something bright reflecting off the surface and capture the aberration of the reflection. This trash is high enough that you can feel it with your finger too.
You can see it next to the Sun reflection. Moved slightly. Without bright reflection, you can see just a little near my finger tip reflection. It's about a 1/2" to the right of my finger tip shadow. Hides pretty good! I think this is why I am happy I didn't get a black car this time. With this kind of trash in a black paint job, I would see it ALL the time. With the SBR paint and metallic flake, it's hard to see unless you know where to look.

I had an issue just like this on my c7 front bumper and it was an easy fix under warranty. Turned out the bracket it snapped into was broken. Good luck!
dohabandit....thanks for helping verify this dimple issue.
I will stop beating this horse to death after posting this photo; this is a reflection board used by Professional Dent / Ding removers, waves is the reflection help them see and correct the ding while they are pushing or pulling the ding out. Please notice the 2 waves on the 3rd line from the bottom, the 2 wave reflections you see are 2 of the 10 dimples on the front bumper cover.
Also, using dohanbandit's method, the video (Link Below) shows the crease under each mirror, follow the reflection of the white portion under the driver's mirror.

Fortunately for me, the door crease under the mirror isn't there. So that's odd if it truly some part of the manufacturing process of the door panel.
I would suspect those dimpled areas in the front are related to some structural element underneath, attachment point, etc.
None of that bothers me as much as the fender part on my passenger side sticking out for some reason.
Prior to the C8, I've never had good luck taking anything to the Dealer for repair or service, every time it would come back damaged somehow, scratch, ding, curb rash on wheel, unbelievable for a Lexus service Dept. Simple fixes I try to do myself. I just ordered a C8 Service Manual, it's a CD and was only 40.00 on Ebay. Who knows what I'll get for that price.

ThT horse don’t run. I thought this thread was about problems!
All of my issues are visible with the "eye", since there's too many reflections to capture by camera alone, the reflection board was to capture the dimples in a pic. With your statement, I assume you'd accept poor quality and unacceptable problems with any "mass produced automobile", that's okay, just not my standard.
Went to check on my car. She was left in the open and it rained. Told the service manager I'm taking her home till the transmission comes in which is probably a few months away. Got her home and the shock towers were full of water. Took the air hose out and cleared the water.
Before I took her home, I asked the service manager how many transmissions went bad. He said mine was the ninth one. There were about 30 allocations for this dealer, so those are pretty bad odds.
Here's a pic of 2 other Corvettes waiting for transmissions.
Thanks John91498 for the info. I’m sorry you are having this problem. It will be interesting if the 2022’s are still having this problem. Hopefully they have found a fix for the issue for the replacement transmissions as well as for the one’s rolling off of the assembly line now.

Then why did you accept the vehicle with so many problems?
