The SD card issue may be because you don't have the correct type/rating for the PDR. There are lots of info & recommendations on the forum about the correct card to buy.
I had a similar issue of the alarm (Horn) going off at random times. Key fob was sitting on my desk at work or in my drawer at night. I pulled the fuse to the Horn as a temporary cure, because it would go off in my garage at 2 or 3 am under my bedroom! Turns out my issue was the roof panel sensor had a bad switch or poor contact, the alarm thought the roof was being removed with the alarm on. The dealer repair technician got on the Corvette dealers forum and found someone else had the same issue. See if they find an alarm code then find which sensor is intermittent.

+1, you're totally right. sadly, I've already tried 4 different cards of different sizes and speeds, and none would work.

I will keep that in mind if it starts up again!! Thanks
In that case, please post what the dealer finds. Sounds like it's not the card (or you got a fake - been known to happen). I've never seen a PDR SD card error that turned out to be a hardware problem other than the card itself.

Similar experience. I have 4 cards of varying sizes and all exhibit the same random failures. The only partial solution has been to re-format the cards frequently but even that has been no guarantee.

The receptacle in the glove box was faulty. They just told me they replaced it and it works now.
Codes on mine at 63 miles, were P0300 and P050D, which was triggered by the broken valve spring. The one thing that saved me is it happened while cooling down in my garage, and I shut the motor down at once. If it had happened on the road, may have trashed the engine. Good news is they are bring mine back later today. First 3 weeks has not been smooth. So I hope that resolve s the issue and no more problems.
That is the same code as mine. I have a 2023 C8 1LT. Last Sunday take it out for the first time with only 2 miles on the odometer and cruise around for a few hours and noticed the engine started to misfire at idle. Then later showed "ESC Service" message, check engine light came on, engine started to lose power when accelerate and the vehicle vibrate violently. When I got home the vehicle smell like some something burned and the engine making a tick tick sound on the passenger side. Called Onstar and have them ran the diagnostic and the code was P0300 and P050D. The next day I drove to my nearest Chevy dealer to drop it off. They said, it will be 3 weeks before they can diagnose my car.

Very disappointed with my brand new 2023 C8 Stingray. Only 70 miles on the odometer and already having issues. Yesterday take it out for the first time with only 2 miles on the odometer and cruise around for a few hours and noticed the engine started to misfire at idle. Then later showed "ESC Service" message, check engine light came on, engine started to lose power when accelerate and the vehicle vibrate violently. When I got home the vehicle smell like some something burned and the engine making a tick tick sound on the passenger side. Call Onstar to run diagnostic and found codes P0300 and P050D. Next day I drove to nearby Chevy to drop it off. It barely ran, misfire badly. Now the car is sitting at the dealer for 3 weeks before they can get to it.

1) with 2 miles on the odo, you need to know that ALL new C8's make a god awful burning smell for the first 1000 miles or so. This has been surmised to be oil coatings and materials in the heat blankets around the cats escaping. It smells like burning plastic, etc.
2) the LT2 engine is a DI engine and they normally make a lot of ticking / chattering noises which are the fuel injectors.
3) ESC should be unrelated to engine, that is a transmission issue. If you are having misfires, where did you get your gas? Make sure you are running 93 octane and from a "top tier" source.
4) on a new car, the last thing I would do is buy it and then put it on the shelf for a long time. You need to get through the break-in period and discover if you have any issues early on. Most failures in all things made by mankind happen either early on or much later due to wear and tear.

Open the door with the mechanical key. Reach down to a small opening near the steering wheel shaft in the foot well and there's a ring you can pull to open the frunk. Just saw a video on it.
