It’s now been 30 days waiting for a replacement transmission for the 2021 HTC.
No ETA on when a replacement will become available. Several C8’s at the dealer still waiting for theirs. Time to Lemon Law and move on. I can’t say it’s been a “pleasurable experience”.
If you’re not going to keep the C8, get it fixed and sell at a profit. Lemon law will get you less than you paid for your car because of mileage (at least in CA)

Are you dealing with GM direct through a district rep. How high have you escalated the problem.

Unfortunately, it's the times we are living in (covid, supply chain etc.) and the Corvette is not the only thing affected. I sent my watch in for repairs at the beginning of December and I still don't have it back yet. I realize it's a cliche, but everything sucks right now with relation to getting things. My advice is to stick it out and you'll be a happy camper once you get it back. And if you aren't, sell it for a hefty profit.

I sent my watch in on November 11th for the ten year cleaning and adjustment. It also isn’t back yet. They say possibly another three weeks. It is crazy times.
I went furniture shopping for a spare extra small dining table and unless it is made in the USA (2-6 weeks), it is 4-18 months delivery. Much is due to a labor shortage (worldwide), not parts or supplies that many are attributing it to. Not to mention due to the supply imbalance to demand, pricing is above inflation rates that we have not seen since the late 70s. It's a matter of time before the base C8 is going to have a substantial price increase too. So much for those expecting/stating discounts on C8s after the first year .

Seriously, you haven't seen what used C8's are bringing in? Go to Vroom, Carvana, CarMax etc and ask what they would buy your car for. Some are getting $10-20k over MSRP. Sold my C7 on Vroom prior to buying my C8 and I was shocked at what I got for it. Due to the current shortages, the used car market is crazy. Of course, you could most likely get more by selling to an individual vs. a company.

I am completely satisfied with my Vroom experience. I first tried to sell locally and I was inundated with local car dealers wanting to low ball me. So I tried all the online usual's and Vroom gave me the best price. Super easy, you esign some documents, they overnight you a package for you to sign and a return envelop to send your title back to them. Once received, they set up a pick up time and they then come to pick up your car. Once they pick up the car, they either direct deposit your money or overnight you a check, whichever you prefer. Super easy. Entire process took about 10 days. The longest part was setting up the pickup of the car. Although I could have received a few thousand more had I been able to sell locally, the no hassle process was well worth it vs. having to deal with locals and all of the pains that go with that. Heck, one local guy was questioning why I had so few miles on the and was a total jerk. I wouldn't hesitate at all going through them again.

Thank you , I want to avoid the hassle of a local sale as well. I'll get the ball rolling on my c7 sale once I pick up my c8, not a day sooner though. One can never be too sure with all these delays .
When I traded in my Chevy Malibu, the dealer had to go to the "sales manager" for trade in amount and he was lower by a few K from the online companies. When I showed him the printouts of their offers, he matched the highest one. I do not recall which it was, but they were all within 1K of each other.

I'd probably do a trade in if I was buying locally . MM is on the other side of the country though so I don't believe they get involved with hassle / logistics of my trade . I'm sure they'd have to inspect the car before giving me an offer

Anyone else notice he never actually gives you the "shocked" price he got.
Mostly conjecture - translation BS.
Your examples are irrelevant as is your opinion regarding used corvette actual values.
FWIW - we are in Titusville and a C8 corvette owner we know just sold his 2021 coupe for well over MSRP a couple of weeks ago. He did this to cover the cost of the new 2022 C8 HTC he just received with a much higher MSRP. The 2021 coupe was sold to Bob Steel Chevy in Cocoa Florida and went up on their website last week - it might still be there.
I am sure you can get a very good price on your car if you so desire.

I really don't understand your problem. I as well as others tried to help you with your issue with regards to not going with the lemon law as you would most likely end up losing money. I was very polite in my first post and you decided to respond by saying "seriously, what is your offer" and that my examples are irrelevant as is my opinion. There are countless threads on this forum with owners flipping their C8's for well over MSRP and making a hefty profit. I gave you two examples of posts people getting above or valued above MSRP. I have included two others below, one similar to your situation. You then call me out stating I never gave you the price I received and stated it was just BS. I didn't know that was a requirement when trying to help a forum member out. But since you asked, I received over $50k on a 6 year old car that I spent a little over $60k for. So yeah, I was shocked. It's a shame you feel the need to attack others for simply trying to help you out.
Thanks! I thought the same. My door feels perfectly aligned. My issue is that my dealership expressed concerns taking apart my door to re-align the window to fix the noise. They thought it would be safer to live with the noise vs risk them causing other issues.
This is my first Chevy and I know the C8 is new, but I've been really turned off by the dealership experience so far. I get that the car is expensive, but if you don't trust your ability to fix an issue like this, how can I trust anything else? I'm not asking for them to drop the motor or transmission.
I suppose I have to keep shopping around for a good Pittsburgh based dealership..
Wow. Yeah, that wouldn't instill a high level of confidence in me either. I'd search for threads in the forum with Pittsburgh (limit search to title to narrow it down) and see if anyone has started a thread about good dealers in that area...can expand to Pennsylvania if no luck there, maybe something halfway close. Good luck!!

Here is your Vroom price. Not even MSRP!
your opinion is just not relevant. BAM !
