I'm wondering if it's looking how efficient it was before (original cat) and comparing it to now (sport cat) and noticing it isn't as good as previously. Where as if I reset the ecu maybe it would set the baseline as the sport cat and be happy.
I did not disconnect the battery and did not reset the ECU.

You should reset the ecu. And drive it to see if the light comes back on. If it does and you are still getting converter efficiency codes. You need to return those converters.
But remember you need to put on at least 20 miles at hwy speeds. That’s when the ecu will test the converters.

I think you meant me.

I reset the ECU yesterday by disconnecting battery for a bit. Pulled the airbox all the connectors were still connected. Put it back on and drove it around town for about 45 minutes. A mix of street / highway. (When the CEL came on, I hadn't been on the highway at all, so it certainly tests the converters at non-hwy speeds). No CEL yet, but with rain the next several days I don't know when I'll get a chance to drive it... don't mind the fact I have 11 hours of meetings straight today.

Loved the sound and video. Thanks. I'm not far from you with the same car other than black interior. I bought the cats and have the new Magnaflow cat back coming so looking forward to hearing them together.

To keep everyone in the loop, I've driven a few times since I reset the ecu, and I haven't had the CEL come back yet. I'm not 100% positive it's fixed but so far so good.

Awesome! I'll probably do a cat back too. I'm just trying to "patently" wait to see what Borla and Corsa bring to the table. My buddy took delivery of his '21 vert last week. He's gonna come by "maybe" next week and we're gonna do a side-by-side sound test with his stock NPP exhaust and mine with the sport cats.

Had anyone else tried the Sport Cats? Seems to be working well at a fraction of the competition’s price.

My sport cats, as well as 2 other Texans I know are throwing CEL. It's funny how 2M advertises no check engine, but after getting in touch with them they say 10% of cars with their sport cats are experiencing CELs with them. Seems a little fishy since the only locals I know that got them are all throwing CELs along with myself.

They offered no discount on the o2 spacers that they are guaranteeing to fix the problem, despite their false advertising. They said they were in stock ready to ship, and so far have not shipped after a full week.

Can't say I recommend them. They also don't come with gaskets to connect to the header...you get what you pay for.

What year threw the cel? Have heard the 2021 is more sensitive. Thanks.

how is the header coating holding up? I thinking of sending mine to jet hot. Don’t want to waist the $380 if the 2m coating is holding up.

I would say if show car quality is what you want then get the jet hot. If not be careful of what you put on it to prevent uneven burn in of the coating 2M provides.
here is a picture after about 600 miles with the headers and sports cats!

sorry to hear you got a CEL... fortunately I did not have a CEL with the Headers and Sports Cats on my 2020. Are you a 2020 or 2021?

not concerned the looks. Looking for Heat control and figured jethot or cerakote would be a good option.

Finally put my video together... here's the headers / sport cats installed. I didn't rev with stock... realized later I should have. I think I was about to start the install and didn't want to heat everything up too much!

It really does sound great when driving, pops sound great when under throttle and shifting!

Like it's been said before I had CEL which is very disappointing. I bought 45 degree angle spacers for $40 (with "catalysts") instead of $65 from 2M. I think they fit better than the the 2M ones since they are 45 degrees. These are about $20-40 all over online (amazon, ebay, etc. Pretty sure they are all identical).

What they looked like when they arrived:

I took them apart to see how they all fit together (Everything is just screwed together).

What they look like installed. O2 Cables have plenty of space to wiggle around, I think the heat is "far enough away". I would have preferred to wrap them to some degree to ensure heat stays where it's supposed to but I don't think it matters at all.

That's awesome, let us know if that solved the CEL issue.

I've driven it probably 100-150 miles since I added the spacers and no issues yet. Still frustrated I had to install them with the cats...but that's life. I question if there was a bad batch of cats or if they started using cheaper ones after the first batch came out.

Yesterday while waiting for something (10+ other cars were also waiting) I was asked to turn my car off as the exhaust was too much for the people standing around... I feel that it's not filtering as good... I guess the fact the CEL came on confirms that... but now it seems others can tell just by the smell too.
