From a business perspective, a mid-engine Corvette just makes sense. Bob Lutz certainly seems to think so, and he offers up a pretty good argument on why Chevy needs to build the car.

As the Car and Driver spy shot above demonstrates, it looks more likely than ever that there will, in fact, be a mid-engine C8 Corvette.

Like it or not, there’s no escaping discussions of a next-gen mid-engine C8. It seems the only thing left is for General Motors to issue an official press release announcing the car is in development.

The more information I gather on that mid-engine Corvette supposedly in the works, the more I think I need to find a few more sources of income.
