I think you should have given them the benefit of the doubt (and not outed them) until they tried to screw you. They've gotten a lot of bad press from this and they haven't had a chance to rectify it yet.

Say what?? Just poking fun with the avatar. (Got to a least maintain the sense of humor thru this chit). I haven't said anything negative yet. I realize they have to get the motor and check it out.
Oh, and if you are talking about the whole thread in general, I prefer to be pro-active, instead of re-active............Sorry, just the way I am.

But if they make good on this, they're golden. It will prove that they actually stand behind their product.
If they screw him, bad news travels like wild fire.
You might not have said anything negative yet, but a lot of people have and have taken an opinion away from this thread before the situation is resolved.
I don't know about that. I think they have an opportunity to actually gain customers from "our" vette world! Nobody had ever heard of them before, and you can't deny, if they make good, they look good in most eyes (and probably will gain some customers), but some may never chance them however the outcome. So be it. So they suffer a little negative discomfort. What about my discomfort? Putting/pulling a motor in a vette ain't like dropping one in a 74 truck with tons of room to work. I now have two experiences pulling a motor, and one installing, with another forthcoming. And your concerned about them? Holy cow batman!!
They may even come back and say it was from detonation, though 2 experts have said that was highly unlikey, but would not rule it out 100%.
I'll take my medicine if so needed.

I'm putting myself in their place. They haven't screwed up yet in my eyes. It's been said here before. You should try and resolve your differences with a vendor before airing it on the forum. All you really needed to do would have been to with hold their name until they gave you an answer. Then the press would have been all good or all bad depending on the outcome. As it is it's a mixed bag at best.
Edit: I will give you the deceptive dyno sheet advertising.

I'm on your side all the way but, you are infringing on their copyright by using their logo in your avatar without permission. All I'm saying is don't give them any legal reason's. My 0.2
Again we disagree.............I think this post and responses have been most civil concerning this issue. Nonetheless....you have the right to your opinion, and I'll respect that.

From reading this long thread it looks like (at times) they have already screwed you but we still don't know what they are going to do. I do agree that the dyno advertising is wrong though.

Oh, so I should have shut up, got my replacement motor, and never said a word about their deceptive advertising? I have written them two or three emails now concerning their deceptive advertising. I'm not just airing it out on here.
I would much rather take my chances letting my vette brothers know about this situation, than "shutting" my mouth and waiting for their blessings.
At best, blueprint can learn from this, make changes in their advertising (which they surely should), and move on. As I wrote the production manager, "why sure their even be a loser here, when both can surely come out as winners in this?".
Believe me, the avatar is all in fun, and will be removed if so requested. Other than that, I await the jury's decision.
I'm not saying you should have "shut up". I'm saying you should have kept their name out of it until all was said and done. Other than that, I wouldn't have changed a word in any of your posts.

Edit.......Okay......maybe that is a little strong........it was for my amusement only however.......lol.......
I'll save it.

I understand where you are coming from. I guess that's the difference in being pro-active, vrs. re-active, or maybe more likely in my case, bigmouth, vrs. passive tight lipped. I'm only human.
