One thing everyone must understand here. Blueprint (whom I purchased the engine from) is owned by Marshall. From what I understand, they make all the performance engines. They actually have two different websites.
Another note: No one has said what Blueprint said about it's dyno's is illegal advertising. It's just plain and simply deceptive advertising at it's best.
From: Who says "Nothing is impossible" ? I've been doing nothing for years.

There's that freakin' quote again..........from the Napa site:
Engines Available
Blueprint engines is your best choice for driveable, reliable and fun powerplants. They offer both base models and turn-key premium crate engines for your project car. The engines are always balanced and dyno-tested, and most come with a 24 month or 24,000 mile nationwide warranty!
Well lets not jump on ms for buying a cheaper motor. I probably would have too. Hey its cheaper, and most of us don't drive our vettes "that" much, so if it made it 50k or so, then that'd probably be pretty good and last several years. More money for other parts of the vette.
This is from the actual motor I bought info. page:
A Ton Of Extras:
Professional Products dual plane satin finish intake manifold
9.5 to 1 compression
New chrome valve covers
Brass freeze plugs Dyno tested – and shipped with results
Comes with 24 month / 24,000 mile warranty
It made it all the way to Jeepsunlimited.com also... Truely amazing, and heartbreaking story. Wish ya the best of luck and will be sure to keep an eye on this!

That's pretty typical routing time for an LTL shipment. You may have been able to find a more direct carrier who could shave a day off, but I wouldn't get upset about that.
I did some research and found out that I was correct. NAPA's reman engines prior to '2000 were supplied buy a company called Bonded Motors Inc. based out of California. The company left the market in 2000. http://www.findarticles.com/p/articl...15/ai_82333702
I hate to say it, but with there deceptive advertising, my guess is...MVM gets screwed..... But i sure hope not!!
I hope to see your vette smoke'n tires real soon!
Maybe we can see if that mail order motor can keep up with my little home built one
