relax and let this take its own course and don't lose the good momentum you have going, by responding to some cheap shots

1. I tend to believe you'd have to be running NO2 or drop something(s) down the intake to crack those pistons that fast. With that in mind, if I were the manager of that outfit I would consider replacing the engine right away WHEN IT ARRIVES AT THEIR BUSINESS.

2. You should have set the timing with a light right off the bat.

3. If some other person messed up the engine that company built while installing it, and the company rebuilt it at cost, I'd say thats more than fair.

4. An engine is fairly easy to bugger up, especially during the initial run in. A company that builds engines has to deal with probably as many joe dirts as they do decent wrenches. I dont blame them for being gunshy of a ranting customer who installed the engine themselves.....the real test is what they do after they receive the engine back.

I am an Electronics Design Engineer and like many of the people that post on this site obviously have much more insight about what goes on inside an internal combustion engine than your poorly paid laborers do!!!!! I hope you get the $h!t sued out of you.

On second thought board mod's......leave it.......they deserve every bit of what they are about to receive.

I do have to wonder how Mr. Keith Kirk could have already found me guilty, when they haven't even inspected the engine yet. Talk about trying to make yourself look good? lol........what a screw up dude. Hope you are the owners son in law or something.........geeeezzzzzzz

Nos? Their problem is I have witnesses to this whole event. One who has replaced more than couple of engines who was helping me. I'm very familiar with depositions. I have no problem telling the truth. And................I have this board!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!

Okay, okay........I'm chillin'............

I, still haven't said anything untrue, or attacked them..........yet......

Ok everyone, time to .

Look at it from the blueprint guy's perspective, he's probably aware that he has a PR problem and is trying to squash the 'rumors' as quickly as possible. Can you blame him? Sounds like he's in damage control mode bigtime! From his statements he's obviously aware of this thread and probably know's it's being spread around the web like crazy. I doubt he's all that happy about it.

Quite frankly part of me can see where he's coming from. Now I'm not saying that his comments aren't out-of-line, you should never bad mouth your customers, but let's all remember that they haven't even seen the engine yet! Frankly I question posting this message on forums all over the internet before first giving the company a chance to see the engine and make things right. I think we should have discussed it here until there was some type of resolution, good or bad. However, that's not the path that was taken and links to this thread are now all over the net. Let's remember that of the others who see a post on some other forum will check in once, read about this mess, and never come back. As a result Blueprint will get the shaft. Hopefully they make this right (I hope they will), but most visitors from other forums will never see Blueprints efforts to resolve this situation. Kinda seems like "fighting dirty" to me.

Right or wrong, just my $0.02.

Having said that, I hope this all turns out favorably. But at this point I'm sure Blueprint is about as pleased with you as you are with them right now...

[QUOTE=MsVetteMan]Interesting, a member of the chevy board sent an email to blueprint and below is his post, and their response.

What forum did you see it on? We are aware of this and I can tell you that

Default it gets better and better

Wow I found this thread in class today and it kept me entertained for the most part of class (4 hour class). I hope you get a refund or some sort of compensation.....if it does not turn out well you should strongly consider calling the guys a Better Business ... they can work wonders.. Or even Consumer affairs. ...

I've got Keith Kirks cell phone number............lol......want it? naw......just kidding. But I do have it. He may want to consider changing it however.

I'm totally chill now.........few cold ones in me.......life is grand.

Truthfully, they deny, won't hurt me. Probably shouldn't say that, but I've been totally honest so far. I'll just dispute it till the day I die, and get a local quality build done. Don't know what possessed me to by a crate engine from Nebraska anyway. WTF? All they know about is corn........and football.

Life has a way of making things equal out.

Peace. And keep it civil guys. Let me be the one that errupts and get's banned for life for expressing my feelings.
