Regarding the dyno testing, I have to disagree with you. I've only seen dyno testing on complete motors (carb and distrubutor included). The way these are et up will have a lot to do with the hp.
I would never expect a crate engine without carb/distributor to be dyno tested. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but that's sort of the standard in the industry.
Dont get hung up on that point. Just get a new engine from them and be happy.
I assume you knew the warranty info when you bought it. So if they replace it with a good and cover your shipping costs, I think that's all you should expect.

I am also looking at a crate engine for my 1976. Based on the price of the Blueprint Engines and the horsepower/torque numbers, I think it is a very good deal. However, if MsVette only gets an exact replacement with nothing else, I will pass right over their engines. I want to know that if I take the time to put an engine in my car, that it will either run right or that I will receive something for my time.

Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. You get what you pay for.
How long could it take them to figure out they sold you some seriuos junk. They need to step up and quick.
This thread will be posted on jeeps unlimited as sson as I am done here. It will probably spread like fire from there.
By the way I saw the on the Chevelle site as I do not read this one all the time. You are gettin lots of exposure, as the man said nothing like free advertising.
Got an email a 3 pm.....they didn't have it at that time.
Dirt: I don't think it will take that long for some reason.
Yeah,...well,.... you know how some places operate, they'll let something set around for a week or so before looking at it. I just hope you don't have to stay on their azz every day about it.
Know what you mean dirt....and been there. They (blueprint/marshall) have presented themselves very professionally so far and have been quick in their replies on phone calls. I expect they will look at it, shortly after receiving it.
