Corvette V12?
This has been done a number of times.
I used to have a JAG E-type V-12....probably the lousiest car I've ever owned. (The engine that couldn't do ANYTHING right).
I guess the whole point is...what's the point?
Isn't that the point, why we are all doing the same thing, in just different ways?
I like many think the work Richard is doing is awesome and I for one, can't wait to see Richards car driving down the road.

Gotto go get some fresh stuff- the old stuff goes to the lawnmower!!!
John's Cars in Dallas made and is making a 50 year fortune on removing the British lumps from JAGUARS and putting SBC's in them....hence my horror of the vice-versa.
Unkahal PHD.
Its a restomod- that I didn't just click on various Websites and then just bolt the pieces on.
Just about all of the stuff is designed & made by me-
When I open the hood- this is what I see - and proud to say- "I built it..".
BMW V12 M73 ALL aluminum-

OK we have serious success!!!!
I wired up a couple switches to do a test start- The ignition lights all lite up- the injectors could be heard clicking and my bank of relays. The first test fire was a dude...motor just spun over.
Knew it was not seeing any spark- pulled a plug smelled gas- put an extra plug in the wire and spun it over -no spark. CRAP!!!! and a few other not for prime time words...
All the thought of what it could be...I walked away from it for a couple hours.
Had to download the logging software and Tuner Studio on my new laptop as the old one just kept locking up...was ready to spend another $100 on the software as I didn't want to wait all weekend trying to figure out my old registration-whether or not it would work...
Then just as said to myself "why would I put it there?"- in the original box was the code!!!
All the software loaded up-the new laptop communication just fine- found the old set-up and updated everything. Even the new AEM O2 sensor lite right up- no calibrating at all. IF you are going to mess with a wideband- do NOT get the Innovate - have two sensors and one controller and could never get it to calibrate or work correctly. And after looking on the web- I'm not the only one. The AEM cost about the same and it came with a digital gauge.
I couldn't get the crank or camshaft to log- nothing....both were rewired - both were brand new OEM (expensive ) Bosch pieces- even got the correct connector ends - so I would not have to splice them plus they'd be correctly shielded...
Then I looked at the grounding block...guess what- the ground for the sensors was not connected!!!
Started right up!!! Running a little rough- but I have logged it and will look over it when I get a chance tomorrow. NO fuel leaks- NO water leaks and oil pressure was at 30+ at idle!!!
Without further ado-
Very cool!

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

Thanks for the encouragement!!!
Anyway- i pulled the plugs- to do a quick check- and as I thought two plugs weren't firing..so the video is actually of a V10!!!
I pulled the laptop out and started checking for spark- with the set up tables I can send a spark to each plug and test- so that will help me narrow down troubleshooting big time!!!
So I rolled it outside for the first time in a while- I'm happy with the look!!!
Checking for spark- beats the hell out of getting zapped and having to run the engine!!!

Yep- I don't have the tuning mode running yet-
I'm reading up on how to... ITBs using MAP (Manifold Air Pressure) - Throttle Position Sensors - or Alpha-N tuning- and then one works better at low RPM with minimal throttle opening - the other works better at higher RPM..anyway a lot to look over but it's running- I'm thinking ( and HOPING) the rest is downhill!!!
Here's another pic I took that really shows the engine rake off- I'm thinking definitely a plexi- hood section now!!!
